I get along with Cancer suns and those with heavy Cancer placements really really well. They are my favorite sign. We love each other..despite me being a Capricorn! Anyway..my 9th house is in Cancer so these people's planets fall mostly in my 9th. I've realized that these people really help me grow, expand interests, think differently and most importantly - think more positively. Is this typical of 9th house interactions? Do any of you experience this with people who fall into your 9th or is it just effective for me because my Moon is in Sagittarius (9th's natural sign)? I will have to say I think the 9th house is overlooked and underestimated when it comes to all types of relationships! IP: Logged |

Taurus on my 9th house cusp. No I haven't felt that they bring that out in me. In fact there are a couple of Tauruses who I just needed out of my life, especially one who showed some major schadenfreude colours when I was down in the dumps. I have a strange relationship with that sign. Some of my closest friends have been Taureans and the friendship could last years, but in the end they almost always do something that ****s me or that I don't want to be associated with in any way. My 9th house cusp is Cancer with Jupiter in Leo.
I'm friends with a few Cancer's but i don't talk to them that often because of our classes, so for me no.------------------

My 9H cusp is LeoI haven't met enough Leos to determine this - but all the ones I did know, I got along with. One of them really did expand my mind like you described and the friendship we had was very special. IP: Logged |

I have a Sagittarius cusp 9th house but most of it belongs to Capricorn, and usually I get along with Capricorns and Capricorn ascendants very well; and yes, you could say they expand my mind. But I think there have to be more aspects so as to that (like angle connections...).IP: Logged |

I was always disappointed to read, that a 9th House Composite is not sooo great for love.
Everyone is just after "the relationship houses".
But for me, it's the 9th house themes that I want!I don't like just staring blindly in each other's eyes...uagh.
Romance for me is learning new thing through the other!
About myself, about emotions and our relation to the world. My 9th House falls in Libra, my Venus lies there.
Maybe that's the reason why.
Your Sag Moon could be looking for similar thing, emotionally. I strongly react to Venus themes and all of my boyfriends had Mars in Scorpio which also falls into my 9th house.
I also have strong Jupiter Aspects to the Luminaries. So that could be a reason why it is foregrounded. IP: Logged |

Ive 9th house Leo and do get on very well with them - I feel like I understand their needs and respond to them naturally, there's a lack of ego battle. However, like you I've moon in sag so perhaps that explains the 9th house affinity.IP: Logged |
