My question is say natally I have Moon square Pluto. If the transit moon is conjunct my moon, will it also affect the square to Pluto?IP: Logged |

I am not an expert and would also like to hear other persons who are more knowledgeable. But I have the impression that much would depend on how wide the Pluto-Moon square is. If it’s pretty tight then both will be affected in the same time and the effect will be much stronger. If it’s wide then the effect might be not as strong but the second planet might start being affected by the transiting planet a little bit earlier.

It is a 3 degree orb. My natal moon square Pluto is a 1 degree orb. Today is emotionally intense. IP: Logged |

When a planet transits a natal planet and that natal planet is connected to others-that may not necessarily be aspecting the transiting planet, all planets involved are affected. If someone has Venus trine Saturn for instance. This suggests that the native has a realistic, austere approach to love, taste, fashion, affection, money and relationship. When transiting Uranus forms a square aspect to their natal Venus, the aspect may have them change/re-consider their tastes and what they find attractive(Venus). Or the financial situation may change suddenly (Venus)etc. Now what does this mean to the Venus-Saturn natal aspect that they already had? It suggests that this experience may be particularly stressful for them. But why? Well,Saturn on their Venus means that they like a certain level of predictability in Venus affairs. So the transit of Uranus to Venus may result in all that being eroded. The financial situation may spike to uncontrollable levels of debt(worst case scenario). Perhaps debt that could not be avoided i.e. the loss of a job etc. And because of the natal Saturn Venus aspect, they may be stressed out on how they are going to overcome it? How it came to be overnight? Why it happened to them? What an inconvenience(Uranus) it is etc.

Thank you for that. I figured that was the case. I am having a lot going on moon wise. Pluto is now starting to oppose my moon and Uranus is squaring it :/ IP: Logged |

You and I both.I have a natal T-square of Moon/Mercury and Mars. Moon-Venus trine Moon-Saturn trine Mercury-Saturn sextile Mars-Jupiter sextile So Jupiter/Venus and Saturn are also in for the ride because of their associations with the activated planets. So the transit of both Pluto and Uranus affected me immensely. Pluto just has me p*** off. It squares my Mars, opposes my Moon and conjuncts Mercury. It is much harder to let small irritations and inconvenient situations slide. IP: Logged |
