as far as just the sun sign can u identify with both? Or does other personal planets placed in one sign kind of dominate? And also.. With your Suns being cusps.. Do you notice a cusp pattern within the chart? Like a lot of aspects at the end or beginning of signs plus planets of course or angles? IP: Logged |

Cusp baby here 21 Dec.I feel Sag internally- can't seem to leave religion alone and I often jump to conclusions(very un Cap-like) I also seem to attract masculine Sun signs more than feminine. There is just an effortless "connect".

I'm born jan 20 Capricorn-Aquarius cusp. To me, cusps don't really exist. You are born as either one sun sign or the either. If you pick up traits of the other sign, it's usually because you've got that sign in your other placements.. But if you do your natal birth chart & with your details accurate you will find the sign your sun was in at birth. I'm an Aquarius sun but I do see myself relating to Capricorn a lot. Due to my cusp, I have a lot of signs in Capricorn (Mercury, Venus, jupiter & Neptune) which will also give me Capricorn traits. My partner is September 20 and is a Virgo-libra cusp.. He doesn't have any of his placements in libra, and rightly so he isn't very much of a libra. Take a look at your chart and see IP: Logged |

I totally believe in cusps/ blending of 2 signs. I know people who have no planets in the succeeding sign and still pick up those qualities. It's the same as if you're reading a chart or if a planet hits a cusp through transit---you can feel the energy start to shift. So when I'm looking at someone's chart and I see they have a planet, including their sun or ASC on a cusp, in my mind I sort of circle that area and think of it as a blend of the late degrees of the precedent sign and early degrees of the next one. It works for me. ***My cousin shares your birthday btw. Her sister was born in the middle of Cancer, and shows the typical Cancer traits whereas she is loud, energetic, life of the party typical Leo. She has NO planets in Leo though, just her sun on the cusp*** IP: Logged |

I think there is a blending of the signs. My birthday is Feb 19. My Pisces is very empathetic and sensitive but I've also been able to identify with the uniqueness of Aquarius. I also like volunteering which is an Aquarius thing I think. I feel more Pisces because my sun, moon, and mercury are Pisces. I've always felt that I'm unique and I enjoy being who I am without trying to fit in. Not sure if that's more of an Aquarius/Pisces thing :-pMy brother who was born Jan 20 (Aquarius) has the work ethic of a Capricorn. He is highly successful and works at Google. He's easy going and laid back though. Although this might be due to his Gemini moon and Libra ascendant. My boyfriend born March 19 (Pisces).. I read somewhere that those born on the Pisces-Aries cusp have very scientific minds. He is all about science. He's so super smart and very scientific while speaking. I love that about him. All three of us are highly creative. This site gave some pretty accurate descriptions: http://www.alwaysastrology.com/sun-signs.html Just scroll down until you see the cusp information IP: Logged |

Oh, forgot to mention- Cusp signs tend to attract other cusp signs. Forgot where I read this at, but I've also noticed it!

My Libra sun and stellium is on the Scorpio cusp, as are some planets in my Sag stellium. I've read descriptions of this that do seem to fit (especially some things I had to overcome in my teens and early 20s), and may explain why I can be a bit more determined in my courses of action than plenty with strong Libra & Sag placements. But all in all, as Pluto is so significant in my chart (also on the Scorpio cusp), it can be hard to separate one from the other (especially as views and opinions on cusps vary wildly). IP: Logged |

As much as they might seem to be more sign-based fuzziness, cusp dynamics are very real. My explanation for this is that they are part of the cycles of the Sun, which emits energy in particles. There are time/space periods in which there is a mixture of the old in with the new emissions. However the only way a person can pick up any energies of the next sign is if it is the body of a luminary - sun or moon - that is partly over into the next sign. Both those discs are about 1/2 a degree wide and their position is measured from the center of their disc. That means that if the sun or moon is right exactly on the line between signs, then about 0°15' of the apparent disc is in the previous sign and that much into the next sign. There are other explanations for how a person can seem to pick up qualities related to the next sign in which they have no planets/luminaries. These relate to the person's level of astrological literacy and awareness of their own birth chart. People with only a sign-based understanding of astrology cannot make such determinations. This same cusp phenomenon can happen in the same fashion with house cusps, but doesn't happen often. ------------------ The Declinations Guy Rising Sign Descriptions | Expert rectification ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ IP: Logged |
