I just want to say that I have had two sun in Leo bosses confirmed so far one male and now one female and both are fantastic bosses with a great sense of humor, flexible and absolutely great at creating a wonderful work environment.

my last boss was a july leo, she had her merc conj mars and her venus in gem conj Uranus. She was hands down the WORST boss that I had EVER worked for. she displayed the worst qualities of leo.. I was in charge of this preschool she ran.. which she ended up buying and essentially ran it into the ground. she was so oblivious and arrogant to the way she ran the school, she wouldn't take any advice from anyone, what she prioritized wasn't as important as the things she really needed to prioritize, like sanitary precautions and new equipment.. she had the worst eye for teachers and would hire really really irresponsible people and I was constantly cleaning up after EVERYONE. she treated her employees terrible, talked to them in condescending tones, super rude and snobby voice, it drove me crazy! I'm sure you can imagine the heat in the end.. once I left, she went through over 10 teachers trying to find stability again, because nobody wanted to work with her. plus her school was a reflection of how crazy she was..
with the Uranus conj venus she was very very impersonal, rather unpleasant and awkward actually, she was super scattered and wouldn't remember things she would say or do. she had a very stuck up way she saw some of the kids and the way she treated certain people..

I mean.. I'm sure there are great leo bosses but.. hhaha no kidding it doesn't apply to all of them.

My experience has been the exact opposite both are truly humble people and licensed social workers who made it far in their field with kindness and truly great leadership skills but yes ofcourse not every Sun in Leo is going to be awesome like the two examples I gave. I just wanted Leos to know that I value them bc they get so much heat so when credit is due, I like to give it.

I've had bosses with Mars in Leo... Not leo sun. They usually want some level of blatant admiration ... Which my Aquarius Saturn condemns...

My boss is a Leo Sun/Moon...
The description of the Leo boss in Linda Goodmans Sun Signs is so bang on it had me laughing out loud multiple times. But she's very difficult, pretty insane.. Her Mars is opposing my exact Merc/Mars conjunction so thats lots of fun.. She barely works yet is sort of a slavedriver, micromanages unimportant things.. Doesn't come in before 11 usually, takes two full months off every summer (to all our relief) and plenty of other vacations...

But she also gives tons of freedom, pays well over minimum wage with generous unexpected raises and gives a great Xmas bonus.

And that being said I do love Leo's, my ex is also a Leo Sun/Moon/Venus after all though I tend to get a long better with the males of course, and prefer not to work for them as it means they are usually squaring my Sun or Pluto and I already have massive authority issues.

I had a Leo female boss that I felt was just not "involved" enough.

I had Pluto square her natal Sun. So I had very strong feelings that were on/off about her.

I think it depends on how that certain Leo interacts with your natal position.

But most Leos I meet who are in high positions of authority ,don't care for details and tend to hire meticulous and detail-orientated types to clean up after them and make them look good.

THIS, YES. So good. Mine has hired a bunch of Libra or Virgo heavy people that keep the place from falling into utter chaos, then gets mad at people who are too meticulous/fussy and who care too much.

She also does the same thing about not being "involved" enough. Like if you don't sign your entire life over to her business and don't want to work 10 hrs a day for her your just a lazy no gooder. Even though she works max 3 hours a day. Ah well I respect and appreciate her business because it fulfills my ethical/moral requirements so I use her and her business to the same ends she uses me and everyone else. Many many lessons this woman has taught me in between destroying my self esteem. The paradoxical thjng about continually destroying someones esteem is that in the end you actually give it to them (their esteem)

The thing I've noticed about Leo sun signs, which is a massive generalization and can't be relied on of course, is that they are magnets for trouble. And if it doesn't find them they will seek it out themselves. And if they don't have trouble in their partners, their partners lives start to be full of trouble. It's ridiculous how often I've seen this happen in life with Leo sun signs.

So now I just figure Leos like trouble. Makes themselves look good by extension and gives them someone or something to wield their authority over too. Very ego driven sign. I enjoy them, from afar.

I had a Leo boss a few years ago. Disliked her a lot. When my dad was ill and I wanted to take a couple of days off work to help Mum take care of him she thought I was exaggerating the seriousness of his illness (super rapid dementia) until he died a few months later, then she realised I wasn't exaggerating after all.

Another colleague of mine had to sometimes take a day off work to visit her elderly mum in hospital, and this Leo boss along with her colleague (a fellow Gemini boss) had sometimes joked about her situation, saying that maybe she's making things up about her mum being so ill, because they didn't like that she would take so many days off work, never mind that when she was at work she worked hard.

Basically she was an inhumane person and I despised (and still despise) her. She didn't have the typical makings of a warm leonine personality, but then again I've met Leos who are cold/cool by nature. They may act warm, but there's definitely an unmistakeable coldness that emanates from deep within, which they can't hide, which is sad, because when someone is a typical Leo and exudes true leonine warmth, they are gorgeous.

But they do see the details tho, which is why they hire these earthy, 6th house types.
My boss doesn't even read her emails. .... There are times when I just wanna bang my head to the wall

An evolved Leo boss would be a delight, though. There's this colleague of mine, who is not in a leadership position - but I think very much deserves to be. He displays a lot of the 'higher octave' attributes. Has a vision, is generous, never petty, a kind ear for people's troubles, gets things done without breaking a sweat. Now this kind of man, as a boss, would be great.

That is funny. My boss comes in late everyday too, about 10. He was asked to come in earlier and did for a while, but has slowly reverted back. He is also very generous and understanding.

One of the worst bosses I had was a Leo. He had Saturn tightly conjunct his Sun, which I figured out later why he was always frowning and so serious about everything. He had anger management issues as well. He made me feel suffocated about every little things it drove me crazy. It was first job that I just walked out the door without giving a 2 week notice. It was that bad. I have issues with Leo men for some reason.

I have a sun in Sagittarius and Leo ascendant boss and she's pretty much the best boss I've ever had. She helps me grow as a person and is there for me when I'm going through something.

I think fire sign bosses have an amazing sense of leadership.
