Topic: Getting other people compete against each other aspects

what aspects would make somebody to get other people compete against/with each other?i'm thinking things swinging between mom and dad, also between her sister and brother changing every months who is with who. blocked the whole family on FB/skype but saying they're the ones who are disregarding her.
cheating on her boyfriend who is torn between his kids and making money/be with her.
making old friend and new friend compete with each other measuring who execute x y z life plans faster, more entertaining etc. (crazy, huh?). that's all that came to my mind atm. 8th house mars/saturn/uranus opp chiron?
scorpio moon?
moon square aqua mercury?
venus square uranus?
ASC opp pluto/moon sq sun/merc?
neptune sq venus?

I don't really know why but Gemini rings a bell in this regard. Maybe, if it's true, it's the wanting to replicate that inner division. Also, Aries ime (being the baby of the zodiac, Something to do with recreating oneness) IP: Logged |

I nearly said moon/Pluto but wasn't sure why although I remember reading this aspect likes to have a kind of command over individuals in a group, like a teacher of a classI think that could be significant if it's in a t-sq with sun/merc and asc. i can't decide how much consciously or unconsciously she is savaging her loved ones or ppl who are loyal to her. okay she wants to go forward in life without BS but the fact is she is the one who plays mind games and and standing on people's head to keep them in control causing drama. very secretive, and i felt i was a lab rat many times.moon cnj pluto in 6th house scorpio IP: Logged |

I know a couple of people that use this method of triangulation to play people against each other. Two of them have exact Mercury/Pluto aspects, the opposition and the conjunction.You should look up cluster B personality disorders. This person sounds so similar to the behavior of someone I know, it's like you're describing her. These people emotionally manipulate everyone in their lives for their own sick enjoyment. Feeling like their lab rat is a huge red flag, since control and manipulation are their main motivations. Run as fast as you can! I think manipulative people will nearly always have Pluto, Scorpio or 8th house strong in their charts. Neptune and 12th house can cause manipulation too. IP: Logged |

I want to add that I have all of those strong in my chart, but I don't manipulate others. I do have the ability to manipulate people if I wanted because I can read people easily, but I despise underhanded manipulative behavior. I view it like cheating to win, it's an empty victory. So even if a person has strong Pluto/Scorpio/8th house in their chart, it doesn't mean that they use those tactics on others. It does however make it easy to spot when others are using those techniques, because I see their behavior for what it is.IP: Logged |

It isn't my experience, that strong Pluto and 8th house are involved. I have that, and I don't like the idea of pitting people against each other. My "brother in law" (according to law, not to me) is this sort of person. I tried giving him the benefit of the doubt, but he did it again and again. I can't remember much of his chart. I can't see Venus in Aries doing that. Moon in Pisces, and my sister has that, too, but I can't see others with that placement doing that. I think it's just a choice that people make. hmm... A Very Mercurial Gemini vs a 8th house Leo Sun with a Scorpio rising and heavy Pluto aspects.She claims to be abandoned by her family and friends. The Leo part makes her overly dramatic about it and the Scorpio/Pluto aspects make her manipulate it or instigate things. She came to me telling me all her problems..yadada. I kinda sorta believed her but had some uncertainty so I needed a way to validate her claims. So I tested her and knew at the same time my boss would never believe her no matter what she would claim since I've been working there longer and I have an excellent record. My boss is a Virgo and I'm next to perfect and loyal in her eyes, this is in part to my Capricorn Ascendant approach to work. So one day out of the blue I get a call from my boss and I'm informed to be careful around her. The Leo sent a report to my boss and you can tell she really was trying to instigate things. My boss didn't believe her for a second since shes a Virgo and already has a set opinion about me. Still the Leo tries, but always fails.
So now its sorta a matter of who can out trick who now. Her Leo and Pluto aspects are good at getting attention and instigating things.
But that doesn't mean everyone will always believe her. ===================================

we suspect she suffers from full blown BPD. it's hard to comprehend, realize and understand and of course finally resolve this when anything i did was used against me, any kind of feelings or vulnerability i showed to her was used against me and i was made out to be crazy  the lines are/were so blurred that i have no idea 'who what where why'... all i know and she was right in one thing: that i must stop being weak.
