For me I noticed Sags and Cancers definitely don't get figurative language or sarcasm very well (like when first meeting someone) but the sign Gemini understands people who are vague (unintentionally, meaning not because they're being secretive or prviate) as do Scorpios. Why is this, if Sag and Cancer are supposed to be such intuitive signs? IP: Logged |

sorry but you need to hold your horses on generalities here.. so this calls for a general answers. geminis do understand to understand because they want to get along with people, whereas cancers and more so towards sags, dont care for tact, mannerisms or displaying any sort of interest in the complexities of how person communicates. I think initial sarcasm just escapes them because they are literal.
They have to learn how you are in order to get your humor. what do you think?

Well, Cancer is a Cardinal sign and Sagittarius is a Fire sign - both are pretty straight forward and direct. Cancer is pretty sensitive on the top of that. I'm a Sagittarius Sun (since we are talking about Sun signs here) and I can't stand people who are sarcastic all the time. I certainly wouldn't handle it well if I met someone for the first time and they were sarcastic right off the bat. Being sarcastic way too often is a form of passive aggressiveness. There have been studies that proved that sarcastic people actually mean what they say and sarcasm is really just hostility disguised as humor. IP: Logged |
