This is something that my husband and I started while Mars was Rx.

Just as opinions and whatnot, do you guys think that we would lose our dispute, simply based on the astrology of Mars Rx?

It's crazy that it all came out today, too!

Thoughts and musings welcome...

Is Mars in your 4th house natal?

I don't think you should give up on your dispute, with Mars direct, you can still fight your dispute as it is Mars means energy.

Thank you.

No, it's not in my H4 natally, but it's transiting through it right now.

We started our complaints while it was Rx, and today it all seems to be coming to a head.

I'm looking up landlord/tenant or real estate attorneys to call tomorrow.

Is it solar return? I have mars retrograde in Sagittarius in my venus return, in my solar return it is my 11th house.

I haven't really looked at my Solar Return for a while, so I'm not sure off the top of my head.

All I know is that it's a very complicated situation that could go either way (there are flooding issues in the basement, and this time the basement flooded because we were watering the yard...but there is absolutely no mention of anything regarding the flooding hazard or how to deal with it in the lease).

So, I'm mostly wondering about starting something while Mars is Rx, and then pushing the issue after it moves forward.

I don't know what happened, but Lady Duch. on YT said if you start something during Mars RX you'll lose, but if someone starts something with you during Mars RX then you'll win. Now that Mars is direct and its still ongoing maybe you'll have a better chance.

That's what I've heard, also. Unfortunately, it was my husband and I who started the commotion during Mars Rx, when we began complaining about issues that were not fully or properly disclosed to us during our walk-through, or in the lease.

Now that Mars is direct, the basement flooded again today, and it's debatable whether or not we're at fault (although it seems sensible that there shouldn't be such touchy flooding hazards in the house to begin with). The last time it flooded, it took the agency like a week to even come out and look at it, let alone address drying out the carpet, etc.

So we've really had it, and we're ready to seek legal help to get out of the lease and avoid paying for the damage to the basement carpet.

Well, it's stupid and nutty, so I guess we'll see what an attorney says about it tomorrow, and our renter's insurance.

Does this apply to relationships too?

Watering the yard caused the basement to be flooded? Has this happened to previous tenants. Speak with some of the neighbors. Perhaps they have witnessed this happening before.

If the landlord did not mention any flooding hazard in the lease or give you any warnings, then you should be ok...hopefully.

Has there been heavy rain in your area? Sometimes too much rain can cause erosion, changing the direction of water runoff. If this is the case, then it's really no one's fault since you can't control the weather.
