What would you say to describe a man and his relationships with women (considering Moon and Venus represents the women he attracts) who has afflicted Moon, Moon sq Neptune and Uranus and Mars but Venus is good. Venus trine Moon and conjunct Nn

His relationship with his mum is very difficult and complex. She was and still is very bossy and smothering and wasn't a very nurturing presence in his early life.

Because of this he is quite shy with women and lacks the self confidence to pursue them. So I'm wondering how this positive aspects Venus plays in. His Venus is sag 8th house btw. He is very artsy.

i dated a guy with a moon in hard aspect to everything, even opp. sun and mercury, but his venus sat in the 5th and received a lot of positive energy from other planets. just from my experience he had no problem being fun/flirty, but he couldn't get emotionally close. his mars/venus were more reflective of what he wanted/who he wanted than his moon. although we were together about 3 years his moon rarely surfaced, it was venus/mars. i guess i'd say they struggle emotionally in partnerships

Like mentioned above. Usually the social life is alright; they can talk nicely and charm people. "Surface" level things are no problem... It's the deeper level of real intimacy and closeness that's problematic. Although not all relationships reach that level, so it may look like nothing is "wrong".
