I've seen enough cases of health problems in the chart..

One man had a huge self conflict about his masculinity and he had MARS conjunct CHIRON in the 1st. He ended up with a tumor at his reproductive system.

My father uses his sexual energy in a very chaotic way. He has girlfriends all over planet Earth. He got VENUS conjunct URANUS. Cancer at his reproductive system.

I know a very weird man with mental issues. He comes across as a very normal person, but if you look at him more and analyze him you can see how childish and weirdly illusional he is. He lies a ton about his life and he is simply crazy. He has MOON conjunct NEPTUNE in Scorpio. MERCURY conjunct URANUS (powerful=either a genius or a maniac).

A woman has huge issues with herself. It all started out after her mother passed away. She has SUN conjunct SATURN in Scorpio exact 1st house. Unaspected. Her moon is anaretic. She hurts herself physically.

...etc

And now i get it that some health issues also come from karma. Yours, and also the parents. You clear up the karma of your parents.
So they can be triggered by you this life, by your parents, but also you in another lives that has to clean up the karma by suffering and being ill.

But I wonder, because it was never clear to me, what causes eye issues? I have myopia, and i have it since i was in the first grade. It got worse in time, but in 9th grade - I think, it got a bit better. I am in 11th grade now and it got way worse. What is the spiritual cause/astrological cause behind it, does anyone know?

I heard that the Sun/Moon represent the left/right eye but i dont know for sure. My left eye is also worse than the right one that healed.

While karma is group-linked with similar shared lessons because of our relational nature, no one has health issues from anyone else's karma. No one 'clears up' someone else's karma. That would not be the universe bringing about balance, but spreading imbalance. Your karma is always tied to your actions and your free will.

As to eye issues and astrology, The Rulership Book by Rex Bills lists the Moon under the entries for 'myopia', 'near-sightedness', 'eyesight, defective'. Eyes, in general belong to Aries/Sun/1st house, but can involve Uranus/Aquarius, Neptune, Moon, Mercury according this text.

I recommend you study your whole chart -- including declinations. Parallels are conjunctions of declination, and contra-parallels are oppositions of declination.

Many vision problems can be corrected by change of habit, exercise of ocular muscles, etc. Check out optometrist Jacob Liberman's work. He wrote a book called Take Off Your Glasses and See.

Great thread!!
i, myself, suffer from eye issues chronically and have an onset currently and have always wondered why and how to explain it.
i have uvietis, which is auto-immune based. Could it be that Pluto from my 6th house opposing my Sun ( myself).
my Moon ( right eye) is not aspected natally so i dont see anything there.
i m going through a Saturn square Monn transit now, which has brought on this current onset ( in my opinion)...
any thoughts are welcome.

I have terrible eyesight, need contact lenses or glasses.

- Aqua Mercury square Uranus, t-square with ASC
- Pisces moon square Neptune

I have myopia as well, and had it since I was 11 years old. I also have to use either contacts or glasses. Gladly it hasn't worsened the last five years.

It is also a problem of today's youth/kids! In general staying outside in the nature as much as possible as a kid is considered good for the eyesight. I've lived on the countryside in the middle of nowhere as a kid, lots of fields and forests and staying outside. I guess the family genetics have an affect to the tendency, too.

I have 11th House stellium, Uranus conj. Saturn (loose-ish). My Neptune doesn't too much, except opposing Chiron, but that's not exact either. My Moon conjuncts Mars.

Being Myopic is not a serious eye health issue. It just means you need glasses.

If someone had macular degeneration or glaucoma - then I'd considered that a ocular health issue.

I have juvenile cataracts which is uncommon, most people do not get cataracts till they reach 65. Along with being myopic and needing my vision corrected. I've worn glasses since I was 8 years old.

And my sister has macular degeneration and is partially blind in one eye.

So it may be a hereditary thing as well.

But according to astrobix:

The diseases related to the Moon are genital and urinary derangement, testicles, wind and colic, bronchial catarrh, dropsy, tumors, insanity and defective eyesight.

http://astrobix.com/learn/312-medical-astrology-the-planet-and-its-related-disease.html

I have Moon in the 3rd H in Pisces square Jupiter in the 6th H - the house of health. Maybe that explains it?

I temporarily went blind because of an ulcerated cornea, luckily they were able to save my eyesight.
Moon square Uranus and opposite Neptune.

I have had eye problems since way back when.

But I have attributed this to genes; my Mom wears glasses, my Aunt(her sister) also has eye problems and so I thought that I inherited all of the problems from her side of the family.

Mercury aspects Mars in my chart by square.
Mercury has a lot of declinations though;

Mercury parallel Sun (less than 1 Degree orb)
Mercury parallel Jupiter(exact)
Mercury parallel Ura(less than 1 Degree orb)
Mercury parallel Nep(less than 1 Degree orb)
Mercury contra-parallel North node.(exact)

Also curiously, most people that read a lot or are analysts i.e Accounting, Maths, Research etc. wear glasses.

Could it be a subconscious "straining" of the eyes and wanting to see all of the details?

I will definitely give that book a chance.
