I just took a fresh look at my chart this morning, for some reason, and I realized that the reason everything's gone bad and been destroyed was just so simple: PLUTO opposite my natal Saturn.

When tPluto crossed my AC and opposed my natal Moon, it was actually a pretty good time--I fell in love, my work was good, I had new spiritual experiences and some intense travel. When it opposed my Moon (in Cancer, 7th house) I got pregnant and had a child, and--even though my Moon (10 Cancer 7h) is conjunct Saturn (13 Cancer 7h), things didn't really hit the sh*tter till that tPluto/nSaturn opposition got closer.

When tPluto was opposite my Saturn, a person I loved and trusted romantically (my child's father) humiliated and betrayed and then discarded me, my mother died, my cat died (why did a lot of crappy 6th house stuff happen too?)....I left my home of many years, and somehow I was all alone in the world other than being fully responsible for a wonderful but super-challenging baby/toddler daughter. Many things dearest to my 7th house Cancer Saturn were injured.

My mom and I had a Saturn conjunction at 13 Cancer and when tPluto opposed this spot, she literally died. I just took a huge mostly-metaphorical beating.

I am hoping that since tPluto opposite my DC and then Moon was a mixed bag--challenging, but also transformational in many beautiful ways--that tPluto opposite my 7th House Cancer Venus (29 Cancer) will suck less than when it opposed Saturn.

Have you had transiting Pluto opposite your natal Saturn? What happened?

(((hug)))

That is really spooky timing.

Tr Pluto will oppose my Saturn in 2023 when it enters Aquarius. Pluto's on my sun now, and I have some other hard sets of transits coming up in 2019. It's like an obstacle course that never ends, but at least...it's very interesting.

((Hug)) and ((future hug in 2023))

I've always thought that tPluto and tSaturn weren't "bad" for me in any simplistic way because Saturn is my chart ruler and i'm pretty Plutonian (8th house Sun, Mercury, Mars)...,my Saturn Return was pretty freeing, for example. But taking this fresh look at my chart, I see that this transit was simplistically "bad" for me and it was terribly, terribly literal.

The dates work out that the problem was definitely the energy of Saturn and Pluto *together.*. Because tPluto did bring some positive transformation to my Cancer Moon....then with Saturn, it was all just negative.

Faith, you're Leo Saturn? I wish I had prepared for this transit. I think if you prepare for it (especially as a Cap Sun with Pluto on you right now, it will give you the perfect energy to prepare), it could be way more interesting in a good way....accelerating your growth and making everything deeper in your Saturn sign/house area. If I'd looked a few years in advance and said, "everything Cancerian and 7th house in my life will be rocked hard, some of it destroyed" I think I could have kept my "self" afloat in some of the explosions. It was like getting into a taxi, but finding out the cab ride was actually a violently nauseating huge dark roller coaster in some country with inadequate safety laws.......if I'd known I was hopping onto that kind of ride, I might not have enjoyed it (since I get really motion sick), but I would've gotten banged up less.

Late Cancer and all Leo Saturns can PREPARE for this!!!!

It may have hit me worse because Saturn is my chart ruler and conjunct my Moon, so it's very vulnerable and very important in my chart.

I am sorry to hear about your loss Lucia.

I am undergoing Tr Pluto opposite n Saturn right now and into next year (and had been through Tr Pluto opposite pr Saturn last year I think, as my pr Saturn is on 13 Cancer and n Saturn on 16°56 CAncer).

I guess I will have to wait until I am through it to really judge it.
There has been harsh stuff happening (like my best friend`s mom died literally within 3 weeks), there will be a re-structuring of our family (we are tightly knit) due to my brother and his girlfriend having their first baby. But that is a wonderful thing of course.

As for myself, I don`t know yet, to be honest. Sometimes it feels hard, but not destructive, just re-structuring. Life seems to be more real somehow, and that is not easy to deal with. I have to face up to my challenges in terms of intimacy especailly, my selfworth and work it all out.

Saturn rules my 2nd house and is in my 8th house.
So Pluto is in 2nd house and opposes my 8th house Saturn from there.
the tightest aspect in my chart is of my Saturn to Juno in Pisces in 3rd house, so Tr Pluto is also sextile Juno.

But I guess I am just waiting for the real disaster to strike. (funny enough at times I feel like I am preparing for something).

Well I`ve already been through the first two exact hits, and will have 5 exact hits over the time

I suspect the birth of your child and the love you feel from having a girl comes from the trine of transit Neptune in Pisces to your moon, not so much the Pluto opposition to your moon.

transit Neptune has also been trining your Saturn recently, and this is keeping you hopeful and optimistic and spiritually buyoant. Do not be surprised if a more compatible partner shows up in your life, one that is more spiritual and loving, again due to that trine. Pluto got rid of the unsuitable one and I know it must have been super rough, but you will see later that it was for the best.

Ceridwen, I wonder if an 8th house Saturn feels less (wounded? bullied?) with Pluto right on it, since 8th house is Plutonic energy anyway. i bet the 8th house one would bring sexuality issues to a head, not in a bad way. Also, my painful transit was bumped around by that 2014ish Cardinal T-Square.

Belage, that's a wonderful thought, that a new relationship would come into my life. I got a Vedic directions reading from IQ recently, and he said that I might meet someone in 2018, a relationship that would accelerate things for me in 2019. The rough part with my ex is not over.

Re: Neptune, everything transit-wise that comes even close to my 2nd house Pisces Jupiter (which trines my Saturn) feels so good in my life. I'm hoping Neptune trining my Moon-Saturn, then conjuncting my Jupiter, will bring back sweetness.
