I know a few people with this aspect and (depending on the 7th and 8th houses), it seems to play out most as deep insecurity about their creative lives. I feel like Saturn makes us insecure about whatever it governs but also makes those things deeply important to us--I know three 5th house Saturns who are creative but don't have the courage to put their art at the center of their lives. Saturn rules my 5H (Capricorn) and sits opposite Leo Saturn 11H. I was extremely mature as a child and very aware of everything. I took many responsibilities on my shoulders, and many were put on me, despite my age.
I also had sex late, started with alcohol late and was all around a late bloomer. When I hit about 27 things changed dramatically and I became Queen of Sex, Drugs and Rock n Roll. Literally. I was "young", wild and free! 13 years later-I've calmed down a lot. No drugs and no alcohol. No promiscuity. But I still look as if I'm 27 and my heart feels 27. I can also behave really goofy/silly. I was also a REALLY late bloomer as far as group interaction went. Too shy to speak up and hated being center of attention. That has vanished with age and I'm now comfortable in group settings. I've also, always, had friends much older than myself. IP: Logged |

Interesting. At 27 thats when Saturn was making it's return. I believe Mars is in your first correct? Awesome placement. Mars 1st house people just beat anything in their path. How long did your "wild" ways last for?

I can related to this one too, but sometimes, I let myself be wild again, because Saturn is conjunct Mars and both opposite to Jupiter. I'm more happy in older age than younger. IP: Logged |

I'd say it lasted until I was 37-ish. Should also mention I have my moon in Cap 5H sq Pluto so everything I did, and do, needs to be done to the bottom... IP: Logged |

5th house is leisure,fun,child-like games, letting loose and relaxation.When you have Saturn there, it could suggest that you have self control and moderate your fun. Because if u dont do that,you end up having a lot of regrets and guilt feelings. Saturn in the 5th transit could show up in the chart of a teenage girl i.e what started off as harmless fun, ends up being an unwanted pregnancy that brings anxiety and regret to her. Another possibility is that Saturn in 5th may like to have their work done before having fun. So this is the boss who only becomes goofy and fun when the work part of the job is over and done. Or the man who only feels "desirable" (5th)when he has achieved something of value in his career(Saturn) I suspect Miranda(fictitious character from Sex and the City) had this placement. At the end of the 2nd movie when she opens up her own law firm and is the boss, the more fun side of her personality started to seep through. Positions that are similar to 5th house Saturn are; Sun/Saturn conjunct, Venus/Saturn conjunct ,Sun in Cap,Venus in Cap and possibly Venus in 10th. IP: Logged |
