What are the top five best things that have happened to you in your life (in your own opinion, not based on what you "should" think were best---the things that made you feel most "you"), and what transits did you have going on when they happened?IP: Logged |

The only one that I remember is when transit Jupiter went over my Part of Fortune. I got new job that paid a lot more and I actually had a decent amount of fun during training.IP: Logged |

I think my title heading is bad--I mean to list a few of the best personal moments of our lives, and then look up the dates to see what was going on transit wise. A lot of the best moments of my life, I wasn't paying attention to astrology so I don't even know what was happening.Curious to see how many are connected to chart ruler aspects. IP: Logged |

I'm also curious, listing the top five experiences (or top three, or whatever) first, off the cuff, without thinking about what was going on transit-wise at the time, if anything will come up that ISN't easily explained by looking at transits---if something wonderful ever happens where the transits really look ho-hum and/or don't seem to address the area where the great thing happened.

Good topic, Lucia23 Jan 2009, Moving to Oregon (from Texas) during: - Pluto trine natal Sun, sq natal Uranus - Saturn conjunct natal Asc - Uranus opposite Asc & sq IC/MC. Feb 2009, First meeting my wife Heather during: - Pluto trine natal Sun, sq natal Uranus - Neptune square natal Mercury & Venus - Uranus in 7th opposite/CP natal Asc - Uranus sextile natal Mercury - Saturn conj natal Asc - Venus conjunct natal Chiron in 7th - Mercury trine natal Venus March 2009, First intimate with her during the above outer transits (Saturn > ) plus Venus square natal Moon, and Jupiter quincunx natal Asc. March 2011, Moving into our own apartment during: - Pluto conj natal Moon - Neptune square natal Venus - Saturn square natal Moon - Jupiter square natal Moon - Mars square natal IC/MC & opposite natal Asc. May 2011, Marrying Heather during: - Neptune square natal Venus - Saturn square natal Moon - Saturn parallel natal Uranus - Jupiter semi-sextile natal Venus. So you see, great things can happen during supposedly hard or 'negative' transits. And as all these events happened in the space of 29 months, you can see that ... “There are decades where nothing happens; and there are weeks where decades happen.” ― Vladimir Ilyich ------------------ The Declinations Guy Rising Sign Descriptions | Expert rectification ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ IP: Logged |

Among my top 5, while no. 3 had the greatest overall impact (and it's no wonder there were several transits combining at the time, with tJupiter probably strengthening my physique enough to survive) clearly no. 2 was such a great blessing. I will forever be grateful to that woman. Being rid of that chronic pain just like that was such a gift.I don't know any major life event in my case that had only ho-hum transits. However, I've had supposedly major transits that turned out differently than usually expected - like that tPluto conj. AC I listed as no. 1, which many people dread. Recently, I had tPluto opp. nSun, sq. nMoon and sq. nPluto while tUranus was conj. nMoon and sq. nSun at the same time. Can't say that the effect of this combined transit has been negative in any way, my life has been fairly good during and after it. My guess is that as a Scorp AC, Pluto transits don't turn out overly negative for me, perhaps due to being also an 8th House Sun person with Sun sq. Pluto and Moon opp. Pluro, maybe I'm somehow used to its energy?
TPluto conjunct my (Capricorn) Ascendent was quite a good transformational transit for me, too!--then things went on to get horrible when tPluto opposed my 7h Moon-Saturn. I am also an 8th House Sun person with nPluto square my AC/DC and loosely square my Moon. I thought before this tPluto opp Saturn transit that Pluto energy was always "good" for me....
