The Nodes do not count, per se, as a Grand square.

They could kind of function that way cuz I have a Grand trine with the ASC, Venus and Chiron and the ASC does not count toward a Grand trine, but I feel it.

I am doing a chart now, so don't have the time to break it down for you.
