Here's what I wanted to originally say.

There's a Cancer way of feeling/emotion and a Gemini why of thinking intertwined.

Decisions will be emotional based backed with logical execution.

You had mention he's quite the Artist, so thats probably it. He puts his heart into it which is the emotional side( Cancer side) and the Gemini side which is logical to help plan to get it done.

Now if he gets the impression that he might be hurt he'll attempt to make logical decisions that will save him from the grief of the relationship.

My question for you jadave is he indirect with his decisions? or does it always come clear what exactly he plans on doing next?

I think that maybe where the Gemini side will really come out. He'll plan well but won't be direct because of the Cancer side.
