The North Node is the spot in your own chart you're supposed to evolve into/chase down/move towards....so, how do the transiting nodes really affect the natal chart? Do they have an impact at all? And if so, what's the difference--for example, the difference between transiting Jupiter conjunct your natal NN and transiting NN conjunct your natal Jupiter?I can't figure this out. IP: Logged |

I had node contacts when I lost each of my parents. When my mother died: 18.10 Scorpio, pr NN 18.09 Scorpio, tr Pluto 18.12 Pisces, my natal moon in the 8H 0.59 Aqua, my pr sun 0.21 Aqua, tr NN 1.40 Scorpio, her NN 0.28 Aqua, my moon-Neptune midpoint 0.36 Leo, my Saturn, conjunct tr SN --- When my father died: 19.21 Pisces, tr NN, on my moon 20.33 Gemini, his natal NN 17.19 Scorpio, my pr NN 17.19 Aqua, my pr sun 18.19 Aqua, tr Neptune (ruler of moon/tr NN) --- Attended a funeral today; tr NN on her sun when she died. Notice, tr NN square both my parents' nodes when they died. Sorry to be morbid. Please don't quote... Just find this so interesting... IP: Logged |

Me either... But some transits hit our NNs often...when the tr node is conjunct or square our planets I think it might be more significant because the nodes move slower than most of the planets? - 18 and a half year nodal cycle - Jupiter has about a 12 year cycle So tr Jupiter conjunct our NN happens more often than tr NN conjunct our Jupiter. I had tNN on my Uranus, tSN on my Chiron when my mom died. I've noticed the nodal axis hitting my chart when key things happen. IP: Logged |

I'll have the transiting node conjunct my moon in April 2017! Oh God I hope it doesn't mean a death in the family!!! I can't bear the thought of my mum leaving this earth.... IP: Logged |

Oh I don't mean to freak anyone out!Just think of how many times the nodes hit something in your chart and no one dies? Happens all the time!

Me, too. Am I being nosey if I ask how the tr NN aspected your mother's chart when she passed? Though...recently tr SN was on my moon, and I can't say anything major has happened. But I am curious about others' stories and examples. Also: I got married with tr NN square my nodes pretty tight. IP: Logged |

It's ok Faith, I'm just a little hypersensitive at the moment, anything is setting me off...xxIP: Logged |
