Tell of a moment, or moments when your south node poked through in your life, whether in the past, or just last week.

I'll start. I'm a Virgo South node, in the 6th house. I started analyzing my mental health, then I realized I didn't have to, things were fine.

I could do less with over-analyzing every detail of my life, or a section of my life, and just let it be. In fact, my over worry and analysis of my mental health doesn't help with my anxiety at all, it makes it worse.

I'll post other moments, but for now, what about you?

I also have a south node in Virgo - in the 9th H.

When I was in college I was highly neurotic and constantly thought I would never graduate.

Now I'm overly self critical at times that I have a degree and don't use it.

Nice story. I hope you're not too hard on yourself.

I also read it's easier to deal with your North Node in Pisces, or North Node in general, starting at your Saturn Return.

SN in Leo/6th house. (Also conjunct my Jupiter in Leo.)

A tendency to get sucked into drama at work and in general day-to-day life. I'm not the one that causes it, but people often feel the need to come tell me about it and I end allowing myself to get dragged into it.

Things have always been better when I work independently and let everyone else's problems be just that.

Virgo SN 4th house : /

My mom was really critical, super health nut, hard to relate to and I believe has extreme anxiety. Very much a perfectionist. I'm totally my Pisces NN without a plan for life (close to graduation, but what next?), but I enjoy being of service and helping other people. I enjoy protecting people who can't advocate for themselves, I'm musically inclined, and developing my other artistic skills all the time. I'm messy and a little crazy but I'm loved, I think, and I like myself a lot more than my mom likes herself.

I have south node in pisces in the 2nd house. Daydreaming is habitual. I spend money and time on art, daydreams and vegan food... I also write poetry. Don't know if that's related.

Cancer SN in the 7th house. When I think that a person gets too involved in my personal life, I get this weird feeling in my mouth, like when you eat a very acidic fruit. And I distance myself immediately.

I think people just care. But the way they do it often is very different from my way. I need and want a lot less than what they give and want to receive.

According to the Secret Language of Destiny, which is free online as part of this site: www.thesecretlanguageofbirthdays.com

...regressive nodal axis behaviors for my degrees of the Taurus SN include:

* foot-in-mouth syndrome
* overtalking
* wildness, rebelliousness, refusal to conform

^^ GUILTY OF ALL THAT

And, as part of the awkwardness of adjusting to Scorpio NN (doing it badly):

* overly conservative (I'm past that phase)
* holier-than-thou attitude

^^ SOMETIMES GUILTY

South Node in Sagittarius in the 8th house

It is possible that in a previous life I enjoyed much intellectual power or influence(Sag). And all from someone elses resource i.e Church tower,Publishing house,Elite society etc. None of mybown accord.

In this life, its my voice that matters(Gemini) . And there are no contacts, affiliates or big name church associates, celebrities etc. to endorse it . Just me.... and it feels like i have to build things from scratch(2nd)

I probably was a nurse, surgeon, or an accountant, in the past life.

Gemini SN 6th house, Sagittarius NN 12th house

Every time I follow and lean into (or surrender to, expand into) my NN in life, even the lower manifestations of it, things get so much happier for me--and yet, my SN is always scrambling to take over the good NN activities and turn them into SN stuff.

Examples:
-instead of doing the wonderful long distance travel that makes me happy (NN), I write lists of itineraries (SN)
-when I have an inexplicably high vibe and powerful, vulnerable feeling of love (NN), I write about it in my journal (SN), sinking the vibe and fixing the relationship into a narrative, a process I've been TOO good at from the moment I could pick up a pen
-I put meditation (NN) onto my to-do list (SN), and I keep track of how long I meditated that day (SN)

I hope it's not our past life...otherwise I'm holding onto my SN HUGE time. I'm a nurse, though it's not all that aspire to be. It might explain why I encounter so much drama at my work in particular.

My NN would probably be okay living life as a reclusive writer or artist without a schedule or a boss.

No quoting please.

SN in Capricorn in 4th house :/

I have a problem with this placement, hard to tell whether I should concentrate more on my career or my home/family... I think I need both in the same way. It happened to me that I had to chose between career and prefered location, often I couldn't have both in the same time...

My SN is in Capricorn/3rd. I'm a Gemini Sun, 10th house Moon. I express my SN by being who I am every day. My Venus conjunct NN in Cancer/9th is where I need to go, yet to do so without forgetting who I am.

Nice post. I have South Node in Leo in the 7th (conjunct my Leo Sun in the 7th). Aquarius North Node in the 1st.

What never works for me is relating to others according to my own will. When I try to be friends or date someone in a way where I'm making all the decisions, it is quite a disaster. The funny thing about the Leo energy in the 7th is that it can unconsciously take over and be nice but in a way that tries to have the upper hand. Also, being a bit too available to people because of that and planning things around them and then expecting them to do the same for me.

But when I play it kind of cool, let people come to me, and initiate anything romantic in a less dramatic way, things work out. Having no expectations when it comes to love interests is crucial. Otherwise, it just becomes a mess. Also, reminding myself that other people are not me and just respond or do things differently and that's okay.

It's also better for me to do things alone, even social things like going out to a bar, and just randomly run into or meet people along the way, rather than to need someone to tag along with. I know more and more people socially as I get older and have found that I cannot stick to those "special few friends" like I used to (even though I still have them).

I actually love that feeling of being independent, welcoming the unexpected (not knowing who I'll end up meeting or hanging out with) and even being sort of a weirdo for going out on my own (which it seems very few people do). It keeps me detached from others' approval before doing something and allows me to approach people from the outside looking in, like more of an individual.

Basically, demanding closeness and exclusive partnership just to look good is a no win for me and relating to people like that keeps me from feeling free and makes things a lot less interesting.

South Node in Gemini.

Mars conjunct North Node natally in the 7th.

I tend to go on Facebook rants quite often which contradicts my Mercury in Scorpio retrograde.

It makes me feel too vulnerable, but I just HAVE to express my thoughts sometimes regardless of who actually listens or reads it.

In this life, you could face the challenge of finding another way of contributing to the wellness of society, in a less measurable/discernible way(12th house).

But there is also the risk that you may find that your contribuyion goes unrecognised. Or perhaps the environment in which you commit your service to disilluions you somehow.

The Pissces North Node can be the visionary and "ideal" chaser. Becoming strongly disilluioned by the "realness" of things i.e

The doctor who may insist on going home -even when the patient still needs her.

The nurses who neglect a new born that ends up passing away.

The orphanage that is exposed to have brutal cases of child abuse

For you, the service to others could be a "calling"or commitment. Not a 9-5 job and so, you may not understand those that treat it as if it is a "chore".

I wonder if psychology, working with the infirm, prisoner rehabillitation and all that interests you?

There is a need to immerse yourself completely in whatever u feel is your calling-without reservation. And aspects of Sun,Mars,Jupiter may increase this to a outright obsession.

The North node in Pisces and 12th has a double emphasis of privacy or being out of the gaze of the world somehow.

I have a South Node? I'm kidding, I'm kidding, but in all seriousness I'm starting to think I'll be born with a Cancer North Node in the next life depending on if reincarnation is a thing. I don't even know what my Cancer South Node means anymore, because I'm starting to move away from it that much.

It's a double whammy! I have it in Pisces, in the 12th house. That's a lot of Neptunian/Piscean energy.

Ugh, I have my South Node in Aqua along with my Aquarius Stellium of five just sitting there, supposedly "bogging me down" from achieve my Leonine qualities. It's also in the fourth house to boot, which must be why I'm such a homebody lol. Often I stick at home and do stuff there, but often get frustrated because I get bored with life just sitting there. I also sometimes feel too-selfish at points and can often put my own desires aside so that I'm not to be as selfish as I think I am.

With my Aquarius stellium though, it is just so natural for me to act out Aquarian qualities that I often find it difficult to develop Leonine qualities, which I find myself sometimes repulsed by in others. Perhaps my NN is telling me to do exactly that by putting me in such an uncomfortable state. It's telling me to tell the world about who I am and go on about being myself to the world. I will say with certainty though that I've never tried to "belong" with others. If I don't fit in, I just go off and away. I don't need those kinds of people in my life.

It is weird thinking about my North Node and why it's doing what it's doing in my chart. I've always had a desire to be famous (Leo NN), but I've wanted it to be for something worth the fame in itself (10th house). I don't want to be stuck at home all the time; I just don't know how to get out of such. Strange to me honestly.

Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune

Have you caught onto the predicament I'm in yet?
