Water ASC, Air Sun, Water Moon. I love being inside water but I'm afraid to drown. But I love water...bathing, looking at the sea, drinking cold water...so good.I have no fire in my chart. I have a low body temperature, I have an aversion to too much heat and sun on me...I think I don't like what I don't have... IP: Logged |

My chart is packed with fire, but almost no water. Not counting asteroids and nodes, I only have a 4H Scorpio Jupiter. Both fire and drowning are the two most horrible ways to die to me, at least not counting torture (but then torture often includes fire, scalding heat, and simulated drowning). And I take steps to avoid it, including keeping an up to date fire extinguisher (I'm the only one I know who does that). But for me it could be early childhood. I spent about my first 5 years in homes that used propane, and it was stressed on children about not playing with that. In any case, after seeing Dad fall asleep with a lit cigarette in his hand, I started having recurring dreams of that starting a fire and chasing me (probably combined with how Mom and Dad took me away from where I'd been before, which I did not appreciate), and to this day I still have those dreams, though now it's usually something like a forest fire (and sometimes I'm fighting it rather than running from it). Interesting enough, I used self-hypnosis to fight my nightmares including the fire ones, and since then I sometimes became pyrokinetic in dreams, especially the nightmares, which is rather funny to me. But the ability to start fires with my mind in those nightmares are usually limited for some reason, so if I'm dealing with a zombie horde, for example, then it's used only as a last resort. In my fourth year my aunt put a life preserver on me and slung me out as far as she can in a lake to "teach me how to swim." Though I did eventually manage to figure out how to get back to the dock (though I flipped over more than once with the life preserver holding my head underwater, and I had to kick really hard to right myself back up), I cried for awhile absolutely terrified (especially when I saw her walk away to light up a cigarette, which she later told me was so I'd stop crying for her to come get me). To this day I often have haunting dreams of being far from shore on large lakes (as it pretty much seemed to be for me at that age). A compelling book to me as a small child was The Cat Who Wished to Be a Man, and I read that several times over years (even read it a couple of times as an adult), and there's a dramatic chapter where the main character has been bound and tossed into the river to drown, and he escapes through a magic wishbone in which he wishes to be with someone else to find himself in flames (the same person who sent thugs to have him drowned also sent thugs to have the other person's place burned down), and the horror of drowning and burning are both vividly (at least for a child) described, and I recall the details of it easily. And very likely that sunk in to add to the fear I already had of burning and drowning. Still, it's not like I'm phobic, just careful. I even surf, and I'm aware that it takes longer to drown by salt water than fresh, and it sounds even worse (I believed I drowned at sea in a previous life as well). Sheesh, I remember how as a child (9 and older) that I discovered some rip currents, and I foolishly let them carry me away so that by the time I made it back to shore it was then a game to find my parents (and that was an exhausting game, and man-o-war stings, very painful, were also a danger that could've been disastrous had I been stung at the wrong moment). It's amazing to me what I, and so many others, survived as children, even as we repeatedly tempted fate over and over. IP: Logged |

I have water sun, air moon and earth ascendant. My elements are rather in equilibrium - I have about equal measures of every element. I like water, nature, fire... I need clean air. I am not afraid of any element or avert to it. My only aversion is of rottening. I wonder under what element that falls. Perhaps under destruction. And I much prefer heat to cold. IP: Logged |

I have a Water Ascendant with an Air Sun and Moon in water houses. I am not adverse to these elements and often don't mind them, but if I am in water for too long I start to get thirsty. Perhaps I'm becoming a fish? (Sun conjunct Neptune at play lol). I will state that I cannot stand humidity and much prefer cooler weather in contrast to hotter weather. ------------------ Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune Scorpio Mars conj. Asc in First 8th House Moon opposite Pluto, Trine Uranus Have you caught onto the predicament I'm in yet? IP: Logged |

I'm an Earth sun, water moon, and air ascendant. I like to be warm and toasty, I cannot handle being cold, I live in the desert and even when it's over 100 and I'm sweaty and uncomfortable I still prefer that over being even a little cold. Fire is the element most lacking in my chart by far (Mercury and Jupiter in sag and Leo respectively are all I've got).Interestingly, I cannot think straight when I am too warm. The heat, which is usually what I want, will fluster and frustrate me in a heartbeat if I start trying to think too much and certainly if I try speaking. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ IP: Logged |

I dont think it has much to do with that. Perhaps maybe metaphorically?I am certain that all elements wouldnt mind a room where the temperature is actively moderated. Or jumping into a jacuzzi that has the water temperature being "just right". Water element is likely to be the most sensitive to temperatures rising and dropping. It also affects their mood and comfortability the most. Fire elements may be less sensitive to pain(heat). But even they have their limits. Coldness may irritate them and make them more snappy then withdrawn. Earth element can endure both heat and wet for long periods. They are slow to be affected by changges in temperature Air element may be indifferent to either. But does prefer the neutral feel. If too hot, they feel lethargic and complain. If too cold, they get quiet and disengaged. IP: Logged |

I have Fire Sun and ASC, Air Moon. I am fascinated with fire, but very very scared of it at he same time. As a child I would often dream of either our house being on fire (with me in it), or actually being burnt at a stake (long before I even knew about those historical things. It`s not the nicest thing to remember pretty much as thef irst dream, of being burnt alive. I guess that might have contributed to my conflicting relationship with fire. lol) Air, well I love storms, clouds, wind, thunderstorms and lightening - and at the same time being scared of them as well.
I don`t like hot weather, especially not the humid kind, though I have grown to enjoy warm weather, which has not always been so, just a development of the recent years.
