It was in this day that the Caravan of the Prophet's Grandson Imam Hussain was intercepted by a tyrant's Army. The members of the Prophet's family including children were tortured to death, and this genocide created the schism that provoked hatred and outrage against ruling Sunni Monarchy and created the Shiite Systems of opposing Majoritarian Sunni Fundamentalism.

Mars and LUCIFER were conjunct exact, 8 Libra.
Uranus conjunct ALGOL in 9 Taurus.
So many were beheaded after the conflict ended on 10th October with the Martyrdom of Imam Hussain.
Saturn was on 29.5 Cancer, square SIVA exact.
Pluto and North Node conjunct exact, 19 Gemini. Powerful Intellectual Transformation was indeed seeded.

Neptune and Jupiter conjunct in Capricorn but squared the Sun. Religious Dogmatism/Fundamentalism of the Established Monarchy/Army afflicting the Ego, disabling Peace for Centuries.

The Negative Vibration of this 10 day phase of the Arab Month of Muharram became extremely significant in the Tropical Chart. Notice that Anwar Sadat of Egypt who tried to create a peace accord between Israel and Arabs was assassinated by Fundamentalist Soldiers on 6th October, the midpoint of the 680 AD Karbala Incident.

Other planetary points become significant too from the 680 AD Chart.
For instance, the Assassination of King Faisal, prominent Saudi Monarch on 25th March 1975 has Pluto on 8 Libra [The Mars-Lucifer point of 680 AD] and Draconic Sun of this date conjuncts Saturn exact in the 680 AD Chart.

Here is one more clear connection: The Ottoman Empire (Last major Caliphate of Sunni Islam) was dissolved on 23rd July 1924, and the Sun during this day too conjunct Saturn of 680 AD Chart exact!

One more: The Iran-Iraq conflict started 22nd September 1980. The Draconic Chart has Sun conjunct Saturn exact on 9 Taurus, right where Uranus and ALGOL conjunct in 680 AD.

This goes to show how major historical events still reverberate through Time Loops century after century via Astrological Aspect Frequency.

Hazrat Imam Hussain (ra), like his father knew where and when he'd be murdered and by whom. He did not carry his family in the great caravan, and to the sword of the tyrant Yazid to place division in Islam. He was doing the will of God. He carried his infant son to the grave eyes wide open. He sent an emissary to Yazid, he was killed. His brother fought at Karbala almost the whole day, until he was killed, his two nephews under ten fought until they were killed, but none of that is the point. The point is as Shimr held the sword to the throat of the prophet's grandson, he did not ask for his life or the life of his son, or the dignity of his sister or the women with him. He asked Shimr for water. He asked Shimr for mercy, so that Shimr might show mercy with just a drop of water before taking Hussain's head. He asked Shimr for mercy so that mercy could be shown to Shimr on the Last Day. Hazrat Imam Hussain is the savior of Islam. And his sacrifice was an awakening for the Muslim Ummah.

The only people who see this as a cause for division in Islam are those who do not understand or who want there to be division. They Sunni or Shia, Hadith Qudsi or no, have failed to understand what is meant in Qur'an,

"and hold tight to the rope of Allah, and do not divide amongst yourselves"

This event was neither the beginning nor the end of the of events in life that challenge our hearts to love or hate.

It is Sunnah to fast Ashura, for the parting of the sea by Nabi Moses (as), the building of the temple by Nabi Abraham (as), and for the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain, which shocked the Muslims into awareness of the danger that Yazid, other tyrants like him, and they themselves were to the future of Islam and the destiny of their eternal souls.
