So I joined a Gym April 18 2016 and have been working out pretty regularly. I recently rectified my chart and found it interesting that I have made 3 acquaintances involving exchanging contact info to some extent at the gym and all 3 friends are Aries. I NEVER attract Aries; I attract a lot Scorpio, Taurus and Aquarius which are my angles but Aries not really. However all of a sudden I join a gym and everyone I became friends with ends up been Aries I find this quite hilarious.I find it interesting that my MC is in Leo and the two bosses I have had who I felt were the biggest fit for me in style of leadership are evolved humanitarian Leos and that my favorite coworker of all time was a female with Mars in Aries. Anyways have you noticed that you attract your 6th house sign at the gym? IP: Logged |

Is the 6th house connected to gym? I thought that it was more 5th house. My 5th house cusp is in Leo and 6th house is Virgo . Either way I don't attract people to me at the gym.I am quite "standoffish" really. Most times I'm in a "zone" when lifting weights. And it is sort of very meditative.

Yes the gym or your exercise routine would fall in the 6th...to me the gym is about taking care of my physical and mental health/stress management and is part of my daily routine so it would fall in the 6th axis. I am making a lot of changes in the 6th house area since Uranus entered there around April. My diet has changed, I am eating more fruits for example, craving it, I am hiking regularly as well as going to the gym regularly and yesterday I actually independently did domestic stuff around the house involving cleaning and actually enjoyed it which is a big shift for me in that area..lol IP: Logged |

Well....okay then.I think the reason that i attached it to the 5th is because its a hobby of mine. And i do it mostly for enjoyment and the added benefits of health gains. But even so, my Mars is in the 6th which like you, gives an Aries feel to the 6th. And not to mention the added ruler of the 6th(Merc) squaring Mars. I really prefer to be by myself. Even though i am aware that there are others who love to sociliaze at the gym. I am not one of them. What aspects does your Mars make with other planets? Any other planets in the 6th? Because i think it unusual for the Aries house cusp to want to socialize-regardless of where its placed. As Aries seeks independence IP: Logged |

Wowsers!!!! I just learned something new. Thank you Hypatia!!! I had no idea the 6th house ruled Gyms. The NN has recently entered my 6th house and I just joined a gym!!! I normally HATE gyms, though I have joined some gyms in the past. I prefer to be outside hiking or cycling in the fresh air than sweating things out at the gym. But somehow, I decided to join a local gym because I wanted to start using their pool regularly. IP: Logged |
