You are all awesome astrologers, which is evidenced mainly in my eyes by a passion for the thing. Which is evident here.. Imagine what one could learn if one took one's vacation at a conference like this... http://www.isarastrology.org/2016-conference?SEO=2016ISAR Orrr this http://norwac.net/speakers/ They are not paying me to shill this ... But I was looking at ads for these conferences in The Mountain Astrologer and crying a little bit because of how exciting it would be to be in the physical presence.of other astrologers!! When I cry it's usually an indication of.. well, depth of feeling. Obviously heh.... But really it means there is some truth or draw to the thing which is meaningful. Anyway thought to mention. An LL contingent would be kinda awesome. Just sayin'. IP: Logged |

I've been trying to get DragonCon to let me start an Astrology track there. www.dragoncon.org IP: Logged |

Brilliant idea... they absolutely should. It's probably our responsibility as astrologers to bring the art more into public spaces and the public consciousness as the incredible tool and modality that it is.. maybe I'll write to them too. It's not local to me at all.(am in Canada). But would travel for the right gathering for sure.IP: Logged |

Dragon Con is Sep. 3 – Sep. 7, 2026 in Atlanta, GA. I love that hotel complex. It's a great place to host a convention. I'd go to Dragon Con as an excuse to stay at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta! I suddenly feel like I could secretly be a huge Puff the Magic Dragon fan. IP: Logged |

The Regency is amazing! It goes into the mall by a route behind customer check-in. They told me they didn’t want astrology there way back then when I brought it up. 😢 IP: Logged |

Dragon Con said that—not the hotel—right? When I stayed there for chess, a Furry convention happened to be scheduled for the same weekend. It was surreal, like a chess tournament at a "Furry Safari." Furries howl at the Moon and seriously jam up the elevators, because not many furries can fit in an elevator at one time. How can furries be allowed, but astrology nerds are a deal-breaker? They are quieter guests who just want to look at the Moon, not bark at it! If the hotels can handle the logistics of a chess tournament during a Furry convention, a few people talking about natal charts should be a walk in Centennial Olympic Park. IP: Logged |

Our chess club went to Time to Escape escape rooms in that mall.

Yes, I wanted to do an Astrology panel. Baby steps. The hotels would have definitely said yes. I think this idea is a no-go now. A general new age convention might have a chance.IP: Logged |

Surreal it was. I regret not taking photos of the public. I took a bunch of photos while dining on "food art" at The Polaris though! Have you ever been to The Polaris? IP: Logged |

That might be a bit unsettling to see Star Wars and Star Trek mixing it up. May the 4th be with you! IP: Logged |

In general, I'm not a fan of brain-eating zombies or the walking dead. The only time I ever watched Walking Dead was in Hawaii with Michael Goodman. He's a fan...and a Scorpio. IP: Logged |
