I'm not a fan of too much hugging/kissing. I like being close but just stay away if you are one of those overly affectionate types.

My husband is much more affectionate than I am-I feel sorry for him.

I am affectionate, but not overly so.

I don't spend much time with my friends, we don't make it a regular thing - like "meet once a week" or "talk every month". I like touching their hands/arms, slapping their shoulders, patting their heads, mussing up their hair...etc...those kinds of things. Laugh with them. Look at them with smiling eyes. Make them laugh. Feed them good food. Tease them, prank them, rile them up...

With my s.o, well it's all of the above x 100 + extras. I go all out when I'm in the mood to spoil him n shower love upon him lol I like emotional intimacy n physical closeness, but not the "24/7", "join at the hip"/"inseparable" kind of closeness.

So yeah, that's how I like to receive affection too. Caring and loving, but detached enough to give me breathing space. Fuss over me, smother me, get in my way, demand too much of my time - and I'll detach myself.

Surprisingly, I am very affectionate. I used to be unable to show affection, because I hated the thought of being close to anyone like that. Actually falling in love can change a person though. I want things I've never wanted before my current relationship and I eventually opened up to things I used to hate.

Sometimes I can give affection first, but I usually wait for the man to make the first move. This is usually because I have no idea when my man wants affection unless he shows it to me first and then I respond with affection back. It may seem unusual, but I tend to question when it's a good idea to make a move. It's weird. I know it's okay to make a move. I'm just not used to feeling emotions this strong and I don't want to invade anyone's personal space without permission first. But overall, I am a lot more affectionate than I used to be and I think it's because of how in love I am.

I'm definitely a very physically affectionate girl, but emotionally as well. I'd always make it known to my man that I'm there for him and we'd exchange "I love you"s many times throughout the day. I would also give him a well thought-out (non-basic) compliment at least once a day

In the early stages of a crush/love/romance, I love making out all the time. Once my insecurities come out, I can be a little more standoffish.

I get shy with very physically affectionate platonic friends.

And although I'm very cuddly and physically close with my daughter (almost 3), sometimes her super-active physical exuberance and wanting to touch ALL the time makes me standoffish--she's more like a puppy and i'm more like a cat.

My Sun is in the 8th so I've had people I was interested in sexually or romantically where even the slightest touch was electrifying. but I sometimes get shy or self-conscious expressing physical affection.

I have Cap rising and Saturn conjunct my Moon.

I used to like a partner who was quite dominant in the bedroom, but now find that turns me off and I prefer to be dominant myself. I don't give affection well--my sex drive is non-existent if I'm not reminded of it. I like romantic touching like cuddling and hugging and kissing but occasionally get hyper sensitive and can't stand even the smallest touch.

Mostly I fear rejection, or that the other person would be annoyed...

But deep down I love being all cuddly and give my deepest affection and feelings Right now I'm single, but the giving and receiving affection is what I really miss about being in a relationship....

I use to be really shy about expressing my feelings/emotions, almost secretive about it, like saying " I love you" a lot and giving hugs was very awkward for me when I was younger. it actually was when I started to teach children that it really helped me open up and not be scared to express how I felt. I'm SUPER affectionate and very forward with my feelings in private and much more open about expressing myself now to friends and such. my boyfriend is a scorpio rising with his pluto conjunct his ASC and he even says I'm soooo intense sometimes.
I looooove to cuddle, kiss, make out! I'm pretty sexual. and when I like someone I'm very forward and almost aggressive about my affections at times like ill love something so much I wanna squeeze them =O it can be off-putting for those not as passionate as me, ive intimidated guys before (more than likely because my venus is conjunct pluto on DC and my mars makes conj to my sun/merc so i cant help but be passionately intense) it almost borders on insatiable hunger for love and affection.. like I cant get enough sometimes. I'm very loving, and loyal and I think I make it very obvious to those I really care about, ill do anything for the ones I love! i give my everything and def crave it in return.

Often I am quite detached with my friends and am not super affectionate with them, despite them knowing that I do like them as friends. However, with those I do love intimately, I can be super physically affectionate. I haven't found that person yet though

Sometimes I struggle with emotional affection though. I can try to work on it but I am not the best at expressing these traits.

I prefer not to be too physically affectionate, but I always ended up w/ boyfriends that were extremely needy so I would be affectionate but I didn't really care for it. It's one of those things where It totally loses it's magic if you over do it.

Just generally though, I tend to have a knack for making something that shouldn't be awkward, awkward in my head. Because I have difficulty just relaxing and enjoying it all. When you have a 'thinking' moon, mercury, and venus and plenty of pluto/mercury stuff, well.....everything is interesting and everything is suspicious.
