Jupiter opposes Venus and Pluto.

It makes sense pluto rules psychology, occult, psychic stuff and the spiritual world and is a very emotional sign that seeks intensity with saturn ruling the 3rd, not exactly a rising sign that would be super active with their hands but more preoccupied with the realm of the subconscious, healing and transformation ECT....

My husband is a Taurus riser and he is the opposite and has moon ruling his 3rd and he wants to do everything himself and create everything which is something I admire a lot but it also gets in his way bc there is too much he wants to do with his hands, too many projects, I try to keep him focused. Also as a Taurus riser he wants to accumulate and keep everything and as a Scorpio riser with Jupiter ruling my second and conjuncting Uranus I want to eliminate and don't get attached to things but yes to people but I am digressing...

My husband's Chiron does not aspect his mercury nor his 3rd house ruler, he has very earthy hands not like a Scorpio riser.

Well this thread is packed with pluto risers or pluto in the 1st confirming they have very soft hands. I could see how cancer placements would also do this but the cancer people that I know who have very soft hands are very plutonic like my best friend from high school she has Scorpio rising and moon in Scorpio, she also like me has pluto conjunct Saturn in the 12th, she has Chiron sextile mercury.

My original instinct was that having a water rising would contribute to this tendency as well as having the 3rd house ruler on the 12th house or chart ruler in the 12th. Like my best friend from high school and I, we both have Scorpio rising with 3rd house ruler conjunct pluto in the 12th and we both have very soft hands. I also have Pluto sextile Neptune and Venus and mars...

Pluto is a psychic sign and a feminine water sign and psychics and healers often have soft hands as it is a sign of a very sensitive soul so I don't think is weird that pluto influence could give soft hands. Pluto is highly sensitive!!!! Is just that they are also very resilient and somehow find it inside of them to regenerate and keep going.

Yes my instinct is that this is a 12th/Neptune thing but love the input on Chiron and see that this can be a marker too. However too many Scorpio risers or pluto in the 1st are reporting soft hands so now I feel I have to consider this is a possible marker and keep that in mind to explore it as a possibility in combo with other markers, pluto is ruled by a water sign after all..

It would be cool to start a thread were people post their hands and their AC, chart ruler placements, 3rd house ruler placements and mercury placements.

It gets complicated though bc apparently Saturn and capricorn rule the skin so soft skin can be the result the ruler your MC and its aspects! But saturn the natural ruler of skin conjuncts my pluto and rules my 3rd and falls in the 12th and then I have sun ruling my MC squaring my neptune and opposing my moon so yes if I go by the ruler of skin it also reinforces the theme of soft hands too..

Just wanted to add that ruler of the MC is something perhaps to look at as well with this topic.
