Do you consider yourself a lucky person??

quote:
The Sun conjunct Jupiter attracts wealth and luck like a magnet simply due to its optimistic and magnetic energy. Talk about the 'Law of Attraction'. The Sun conjunct Jupiter is the 'Law of Attraction'. This is a positive outlook that is unmatchable by any other aspect, although the Sun trine Jupiter runs a very tight close second. The Sun conjunct Jupiter naturally wins friends and influences people. This is the true 'motivational speaker' and 'experiential junkie'. http://www.drstandley.com/aspects_sun_conjunct_jupiter.shtml

My husband has Sun/Jupiter conjunction in Virgo, my mom has Sun/Jupiter conjunction in Gemini, and one of my best friends has Sun/Jupiter conjunction in Cancer. They've never considered themselves as particularly "lucky". people.

I on the other hand have a very tight Sun/Jupiter trine in Sagittarius and Leo (also, my Sun conjuncts Venus) and I have always been pretty lucky.

That is the thing though if their sun conjunct Jupiter is aspecting harshly Mars, Saturn, pluto or Uranus I imagine that can really generate some strife and challenges your way and sun conjunct Jupiter trine Venus can make you super lazy but also lucky I bet lol..

Not a Conjunction, but I have it as sun trine Jupiter and Mercury trine Jupitor as well.

Which makes it very strong since I'm a very Mercurial Gemini.

Lucky.. Its a combination of logic, reason and intuition that I can get out of situations.

Within the last year...here are the two most recent lucky situations.

EDIT:

1) Last winter I was speeding and I hit a telephone pole. Fortunately the pole didn't come down and I wasn't injured.

The police arrived and I'm thinking sh*t this is going to be the end of me, it's obvious that I was driving to aggressively especially in the winter.

I'm saying to myself, I'm probability going to lose my license, get points or have to go to traffic court.

I was surprised because the officer just took notes that an accident was reported and left, no charges.

The dealer wanted $6000 to fix my car, I then found an independent garage willing to do it for $3000.

Several days later another car drove the same stretch of road, only this time a different pole was knocked down and the car was completely flipped over.

Lol, I thought in my head your a "lucky idiot".

2)I occasionally work government contracts in between school. I had an interview for one, I didn't get the job as I gave a sorta interested impression.

They said I was qualified but not selected. I figured no big loss as I have the option to take my harder math courses this summer with well reviewed profs and I have another job anyway.

Just a month ago there was a scandal were alot of people in the Canadian Federal Government aren't getting paid properly or non at all.

If I was working for that department I would have probability not have been paid, was it luck you tell me?

There have been other incident as well that have occurred in my life.

I think it would make for a grand, abundant ego..I have Sun Square Jupiter. Now Im usually very lucky with money and stuff because he's in my 2nd. But Saturn is conjunct him right now and will be for a while I believe. Now one thing I've noticed is Jupiter in contact with Venus, or Pluto can give you mad money. Bill Gates has Jupiter and Pluto Conjunct. Jupiter in 10th or conjunct MC gives INCREDIBLE luck in career, so many musicians and actors have this.

Not necessarily lucky since its on the Sun and even though it's our life force It doesn't really give luck in regards to money or possessions. I would say their outer personality is just very happy go lucky and free and probably have little problems instead of being lucky

Well, the friend I was talking about has her Sun/Jupiter opposite her Uranus, but my husband and my mother has no harsh Jupiter aspects. I personally think that Sun trine Jupiter people tend to be the ultimate "lucky" ones, since trine by itself is the flowing, effortless, "good things fall in your lap" aspect.

I agree that the Law of Attraction can be associated with Sun and Jupiter, but moreso the trine than the conjunction in my opinion.

As for my Venus/Jupiter trine, I wouldn't say I'm lazy. I love beauty, harmony, peace but being a fire dominant person I am quite assertive and would feel bored doing nothing.

I think for a Gemini sun its more obvious because it exemplifies "being able to retreat in good order" or get out of situations with minimal loss.

Gemini males have a reputation for always running away.

Its helpful for me because if I get to mean spirited or ahead of myself with my Capricorn ascendant.

Something lucky happens and then I lighted up a bit.

I wish Trump had this aspect because it would make him screw up, realize his mistake and really soften up a bit .

I have Sun/Jupiter/North Node conjunction in ninth house. Neptun squares the stellium and with south node it turns to a t-square.

I have pisces venus,mercury in 8th house.

I consider myself very unlucky. I would say I only practice exaggerate part of Jupiter. (spending too much, being not careful, gaining easily weight etc.) I might feel better without Neptun squares and Pisces placements.

I know a few people with their suns conjunct Jupiter in gemini.. and maybe its because Jupiter is in its detriment, but they wouldn't consider themselves "lucky" per say, although one of them, who was a girl I used to be close friends with, her moon was square her mars, fairly close with her moon in scorpio, she had a pretty abusive upbringing, BUT when she reached about.. 10 or so, her mom remarried a lawyer and her life became a lot more "fruitful" I suppose? she could be considered lucky now, she has unusually good luck on getting jobs, although she burns every job bridge she has and creates tons of drama, and she makes lots of friends easily, though on a superficial level, and her parents pay for her rent and place she lives as well as buys her 300$ clothes, accessories, etc and anything she needs, shes 27 btw. she ironically enough is very negative? maybe its from her virgo rising/scorpio moon..

now.. I know a woman who has her sag Jupiter conjunct her sun and she certainly considers herself lucky and has some awesome stories to tell on her life accomplishments! its really quit inspiring, very true to jupiters way. shes a very hardworker, doesn't have a whole lot but its all about perspective, she considers herself lucky because she was able to triumph through challenges that were sent her way like cancer, poverty etc.

now.. from what ive noticed.. Jupiter conjunct venus people that ive met were born into very fortunate circumstances, lots of wealth and stability in home life and attract that with age also.

mercury Jupiter conjunctions too

AND ESPECIALLY Jupiter conj ASC is very fortunate. one of my good lifelong friends has her Jupiter conjunct her ASC in cancer and her dad was super wealthy. so although she was constantly upgrading and moving houses in town cause her dad was a contractor, she was able to travel all around the world skiing, and got/has virtually anything she ever wants. shes very humble now, one of the most popular people I know and just an overall beautiful and loving person. she really is blessed with a wonderfully pleasant life, she would consider herself very lucky!

another girl I know, has same, cancer rising with Jupiter in cancer, 1st house, and she came from a very wealthy and harmonious family life and owns her own salon, is very successful for her age and is a little gem to be around.

Well my new friend that I met at the gym recently who invited my husband and I to hang out at his boat next weekend has sun conjunct Jupiter in Cancer squaring pluto and he so far comes off as someone very happy go lucky all about enjoying life and making new friends. He is very into positive psychology and feeling happy and he seems very lucky to me tbh, travels a lot...

Anyhoo in spite of having sun conjunct Jupiter he is in perfect shape but he has Venus, Mars and North node in Virgo and his North node conjuncts my sun by 1d.

My ex has Sun and Mercury and Jupiter conjunct in Virgo in his FIRST house and that f*cker (the only word for him) uses his luck and wordsmith skills to sweet talk his way out of EVERYTHING. I personally think Sun conjunct Jupiter makes one lucky, but sometimes egotistical and also sometimes fat because Jupiter (he wasn't fat though... but maybe later on in life or maybe not bc he's a Virgo).

I dont think its luck in my case. But some weird charm.

There are really akward situations that i was able to get out of and come away smelling good. It also makes me attractive(and yes, i can say that with a straight face)

Venus is looks/charm/money and social order .Jupiter is charisma/blessings/excess and wealth

I dream of being a father one day. But i think that this conjunction tends to make the people who have it, "teachers" in one way or another.Because they believe themselves to have wisdom to impart on to their children.

It may also make one very curious about the world around them;people, places, food, culture and even fashion.

I have great faith in a higher being. Not God, in as far as the bible definition is concerned. But in universal principles and laws.

I feel very rich many times-even though i am not "wealthy" in the strict sense of the word. But i really feel grateful and blessed.

Since studying Vedic astro, I do pay attention to the phenomena called combustion, when the sun conjuncts a planet natally.

So i did notice that people with sun conjunct Jupiter can be somewhat lucky, but not as lucky as people with sun sextile or trine Jupiter. Those are the really lucky ones. They get good stuff and things coming to them without them putting much effort.

Definitely not lately...and I don't think I have the huge ego it's known for inflicting. I do have a lot of Sag traits though, especially the constant thirst for knowledge. You have to look at which houses Jupiter and the Sun rule in your chart in order to put the pieces together. Being that Jupiter is in my 12th house and rules my 9th, the themes of those houses describe the knowledge I crave. Death, religion, philosophy, conspiracies, astrology, the unknown, aliens, meditation, compassion, the human experience, intuition, law of attraction, space exploration---these are all things I study constantly.
