Saturn in 1st house here. Squaring the ASC. How was my life before Saturn return? A living Hell. How is during Saturn return? The same. I never had a happy childhood, or teenhood or adulthood. Nor I will ever had. Guess I will have to get use to it. IP: Logged |

Interesting. According to Vedic astrology, those with Saturn in the 1st house usually are happier starting at age 36. But of course it doesn't mean that the textbook is correct. IP: Logged |

my god it looks like a moving away from home in mid teens is a bit of a pattern!cap stellium - sun moon merc uranus and neptune crap tbh. i'm in therapy for PTSD because of it.. but moved out when i was 16 and never looked back. around my saturn square i made the applications to go though cause i thought i would die where i was. i don't remember a time ever receiving unconditional love of a parent, a time where i wasn't scared or worried or had massive responsibilities, i was born to work for others. i was a lonely child that never felt accepted or loved and as a young adult i'm trying to work on it frankly.. growing up i never though i would live past 21. never cut myself or anything, though alot of suicidal thought but i just thought i would accomplish everything everyone wanted from me then quietly kill myself. living for myself never occured to me. now, i have a way to go to my saturn return but it looks like something i should look forward too from the rest of you guy's replies, nothing has come easy though i've had about 3 strokes of good luck. i do have to work like hell and run while others can walk to. health not that great, somethings always up. but as a whole.. i'm doing better. Reading all your responses makes me want to give you guys a big hug I was always a little bit of a misfit and a late bloomer. As a result,I was not exactly "cool" in high school. Things got better when in Varsity and I came into myself and started to fall in-love with myself. I think Saturn can be very suppressing and make things seem so bleak. Even now I must admit that the issues I may be having with my love-life is because I am too "sober". Romance requires a tinge of frivolity and I am in low supply But I am getting to know that a sense of humour balances things out.It always does. Saturn in 10th conjunct Mercury, Jupiter and Sun. I feel like a new person after my early 30s. Difficult childhood memories and the resentment I carried in my 20s are disappearing. Seriously feels like I got a lobotomy or some brain damage. When I was younger, I would constantly think about the future. Now I think about today.IP: Logged |

I'm so happy to hear this! I am also a Saturn in the 10th child. It's a punishing placement if you toe out of line. But it's nice to hear that things can get lighter after one's Saturn Return! I'm so happy for you! And hopeful for me!! My Saturn Return is in about a year. IP: Logged |

Super hard. My 20s were horrific - deaths to people close to me, multiple traumatizing illnesses and hospitalizations (for me), STUPIDLY rough relationships, and tons of 'Failures' and financial struggles. There were one or two great times in there of course but I got very used to feeling depressed in my 20s.Growing up was very up and down, drawn out versions of what I experienced in the last decade. That being said, the year I turned 30 I grew a pair, stopped feeling sorry for myself, left the life I knew in NYC and moved to Europe. I have never returned and spent the last year working out some of the remnants of the crap from before but overall taking control and getting healthier. My life now compared with what it was this time two years ago is like someone else's. So, that was the reward, and there is something very "Stable" and long lasting about this influence. IP: Logged |
