I used to have very bad OCD. I have a Virgo/6th house South Node, and Venus and Pluto in Scorpio, in the 8th house.IP: Logged |

I most definitely don't have OCD for sure without a doubt but I do have an obsessive nature in certain contexts like when it comes to love and the opposite sex which has improved over the years and will continue to improve a lot more.Pluto is my chart ruler and it conjuncts Saturn and Pluto in the 12th sextiles my Venus conjunct Mars. I also have mercury ruling my 8th retro parallel Pluto! So there you go..Venus rules my 12th so perhaps that adds to it too. IP: Logged |

Sun square Pluto. quote: Sun square Pluto in particular can be stalkers and obsessive callers, they panic if their lover doesn’t return a text or goes off radar, it’s like they have died or something. Sun in hard aspect to Pluto natives have a real fear of death, but in their panic they are often self-sabotaging and create the very scenario they fear the most. They are are most afraid of their demonic, unacceptable, beastly thoughts, which can translate as feeling that something about them is ugly, and that they are deformed in someway.
http://darkstarastrology.com/sun-square-opposition-pluto/ I've got this, Sun in Leo in the 8th square Pluto in the 11th H. It is one of the most prominent aspects in my chart - talk about power struggles, being secretive and obsessive about things you actually deep down don't really care about. IP: Logged |

Hey now... quote: They are are most afraid of their demonic, unacceptable, beastly thoughts
I plead innocent. I have been obsessed before but was so subtle about it that the guy I was stalking in my heart complained I was too distant and unreachable. Is that a stalker victory? When the stalk-ee says "come a little closer"? LOL IP: Logged |

I think Uranus can be very obsessive, as well as the sign Aquarius in general, I mean.. its a sign that's ahead of its time in youth and will hold onto that for virtually its whole life! I could be wrong but that's what ive picked up from my aqua associates.. they hardly ever really change their ways. possibly all the fixed signs can be a bit obsessive. Virgo also is very meticulous and particular so I can see OCD and hypochondriac tendencies that can be compulsive, especially with hygiene and such. like constantly washing the hands! I think Saturn in the 12th can be like that too hahabut especially Uranus!!! and more so if they also have Saturn conjunctions, both I feel can crystalize and get very stuck in their ways. a guy I work with has his mercury conjunct Saturn in virgo and he is also a virgo.. but sheeeesh hes so annoying to work with because hes ssoooo OCD and a control freak about EVERYTHING. he dominates and has to make sure everything is done.. not necessarily the right way.. but HIS way haha. This can be as much the way some people deal with the Neptunian uncertainties as anything to do with Pluto. Pluto's obsessivness is ambitious, might be dominant/controlling, but Neptune's is awash in anxiety. Pluto: "I will get there no matter what." "I will work obsessively." "I will dominate." "I will be the best." "It/s/he is irresistable ... I must have..." etc. It is similar to fire Sun/Mars in its strong push towards a result. Neptune: "But what if ..." "I'm not sure I got it clean ..." "Did I? "Am I?" It is similar to the insecurity of Cancer/Moon and identity unclarities, but considerably more cerebral, ungrounded, and more likely to transfer real concerns or fears to detail/objects. If your Asc were say around 0° Cancer rising [23N27], then it could be parallel Mars [22N23]. If your Asc were in early Gemini [22N00], then it would be parallel Mercury [21N53] and contra-parallel Uranus [21S49] & Neptune [21S05]. A chart Gemini rising (or Cancer) has Moon applying square to Pluto. This may be the main thing to look at. ------------------ The Declinations Guy Rising Sign Descriptions | Expert rectification ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ IP: Logged |

Other than scorpio/plutonian/8th house: I've seen and experienced how cancer placement in someone chart is somehow can be obsessive, may be with partner, past, ex, or self image.

I like Kannon's description. Add Virgo to Neptune and you have an obsessive worrier.

I've had mild to moderate OCD for a long time! When I lived at home, it was more intense due to the high stress levels. The classic: making sure the door is locked even though you know it is, or avoiding door knobs after washing hands! I've also noticed that whenever I'm going through emotional turmoil, my brain will start these mental patterns to avoid it. I have an Aqua Mercury square Scorpio Pluto in the 6th houseAlso, 8th house stelli and my chart ruler being one of them. I've certainly learned to relax a bit IP: Logged |
