I think so!!
My friend is having his Chiron return and his natal Pluto opposes his Chiron. He had a near death experience Saturday when Jupiter was exact on his Pluto. His Pluto is in his 8th house of his progressed chart....

A post of mine from Sweet Peas today.

"A kid may have died in the parking lot at work last night. Personal health related issues. I mean, that's the word from those who would know, are supposed to know. I thought it was weird when I came in and his car was still here.

There was a near incident yesterday.

Then today a guy split is head open. He's being treated right now.
ETA: 8 staples put in.

Crazy."

Im in Oklahoma at the moment but yes im from Kansas. My kids have been to that place many times.

Yes, it's just crazy, and the other ppl in the raft were not hurt...at least not seriously. I read it was the velcro strap that came undone.
Sadly, i wonder what that boy has in his chart that aspects the Chiron/Jupiter opposition and what houses were invloved. I wonder that just because its strange that hes the only one that it seriously affected.

Um, I may very well be going into labor as I'm typing this, so could everyone think some happy thoughts this way, please? I'll come back and edit if it's a false alarm. I know I'm not super active in here anymore, but I like to keep people posted.

Also, I characteristically put off going into the hospital until the last minute (the Pisces that I am), in case people are wondering why I'm leisurely sitting at my computer instead of rushing around. Already did the rushing around bit, now I'm just sort of waiting to see if he's just doing some practice moves.

I hope it's just Jupiter and not something worse? It's been a crazy summer.

I'm glad you brought this up Faith. A couple of weeks ago my Dad invited me and the children to a day at a local park. I usually love to go. I notoriously ride more rides than the kids and bully kids into riding with me... and then laugh at how scared they were- ha ha. Kind of joking about being a bully. Anyway, I haven't been following the news, but I had the weirdest feeling every time someone brought it up. They want me to choose a date around my work schedule and I keep putting it off getting this really sick feeling in my stomach. I can be like that so I resolved to ignore it and send my dad a firm date via text today. Then I say your post...hold the phone!

Glad I went to Cedar Point back in July. Wouldn't be fun flying to my death whilst riding a rollercoaster angled 90 degrees straight #valravn.

My friends accident happened when the opposition was exact...
Wonder if any other aspects were exact this weekend?

The summer has been crazy with the Saturn/Neptune/NN & Jupiter moving in and out of a t-square...Saturn/Neptune are moving back into an exact square right now, only a degree or so away from being exact again.
Today's transits-
Saturn saggy@9.46sd
Neptune pisces@11.12rx
NN virgo@12.58rx

Moving into the mix is-
Venus virgo@7.48(this weekend it will be an exact square to Saturn)
Mars saggy@3.49(around the 24th it will make tight aspects)

@Violets-Im sorry to be talking about this, i feel your labor will be very positive!! ❤️😘
It's interesting to think you are giving birth to someone whos missed steps are right there....your already have way(research these aspects) to get an idea of how to help your lil person😊 accomplish the things that they have come here to accomplish this time.

Sorry to sidetrack, but we went in too early, apparently.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes, hopefully little guy will make a safe debut very soon so that I don't have to sit around having contractions every 5 minutes for the next week, lol.

In the more general case, Saturn Neptune square has been making it an... odd... time as well. Saturn is coming out of his Rx for another pass, with Mars conjunct to boot.

Specifically, I probably rode that rollercoaster every August as a child. Not particularly fast or high, but it does toss you around a bit. You definitely want to hold on while riding. I think accidents do happen a little more often than we realize, but they're getting lots of press because of the two that involved fatalities, and the first being rather high profile.

@Violets

Hope you're okay and the contractions aren't too bad.

@DopGang

That is really sad about your coworkers...any word on the one who may have died?

@aquaguy

Thank you for the extra link. Just so eerie. Ferris wheels are my favorite so I'm not even looking at that one. It will stick in my head too long.

@v2t

I haven't wanted to go to any amusement parks either. Actually while we were at the county fair I was looking at one ride talking about how my friend's cousin almost died on that same ride, which has terrified me ever since I heard the story. That was before these other events (mentioned in the news article in OP) happened.

@Gabby

Thank you for posting current/future transits. I'm feeling this Venus/Saturn square today. I feel very Grumpy Cat-ish.

@Gemini Blues

You were on that same ride? I was amazed to see it just passed safety inspection a few days before the accident. Well I guess there's a limit to how safe they can make everything.

I like your word for Saturn/Neptune square: "odd." Sums it up well for me.

@headintheclouds

It's so interesting to me that people in other countries know what happens in the US. I feel strangely flattered by that. As if it had anything to do with me personally. LOL

What does valravn mean? Oh that's the name of the roller coaster? Let's see what it looks like....

HOLEEEE CRAP

So glad I'm a coward who doesn't go on things like that.
