Yes, I have Saturn in Cancer, trine my Sun...so although I often wish I could put more distance between us, I do what is right for my son, which is to try to balance that the best I can.
Uranus conjunct IC has always added a huge blessing when I move just far enough away from my family to be able to visit periodically, but not have to see them regularly. IP: Logged |

My husband has moon in cancer squaring sun and he cut ties with his mom...This thread shows more a consistency by divorced parents and the luminaries squaring than with the opposition. My parents truly have a nice marriage. IP: Logged |

That is very much exactly my case too wow! We both have sun opposite moon in the Pisces Virgo axis although reversed.. Also pluto conjuncts my 3rd house ruler and falls in the 12th. IP: Logged |

At least we know we're not alone, lol. Each time Saturn has opposed my asteroid KARMA I move back to my hometown, which just recently happened. I haven't lived near my family for twenty years, quite happily. Hopefully it will be a better experience this time.  IP: Logged |

My mom has the square. Cap Sun/Aries Moon. She got married young and ending up divorcing her first husband. But she's been with my dad (Aries Sun/Taurus Moon) for over thirty years. I can't see either one of them asking for a divorce.  My grandparents have also been married for over fifty years. I have the square by sign (Virgo Sun/Gemini Moon) and my brother has the square by aspect (Aqua Sun/Scorpio Moon). No quoting please. IP: Logged |

I don't think that Sun opposite Moon is proving to be a solid indicator for divorced parents at all... I don't know if you can really totally point to such things through astrology, although I think it can be widely indicated along with other possibilities, like anything else. IP: Logged |
