I am seeing a double libra and he seems very robotic.. in every manner. Everything he does seems very rehearsed. Sometimes I feel we create a real connection but then we lose it because he says or does something - so weird and outlandish - which seemed perfect in his head, but the execution is cheesy, a bit sad, and... robotic. The best time I can have real "unrehearsed" conversations with him is when he is driving.

I have never met someone as "weird" as him but he seems nice so I want this to work. Any ideas on how to get him out of his head?

Does this guy have anything in aqua/11th house or maybe uranus aspecting any of his personal planets? Imo what you described sounded more like an aquarian

I have quite a few Aquarius people in my life and we tend to form a wonderful connection + they have the art to do so with many. Aquarius/uranian guys are also spontaneous.

This guy is different.. a lot of what he says can be exemplified by being flowery and very sugary. Most of it doesn't come across as genuine... it's like he is reading a romantic novel and playing the part of the casa nova (all the time if I let him).. just overly rehearsed. Even when he is being romantic he makes his voice all nasally which makes sense to him. It makes his presence sort of uncomfortable. Idk how to tell him it's weird without hurting him so I am trying to figure out a way around it to get him out of his head.

I am a trippel Libra and i can`t relate to being robotic nor being rehearsed but sugary and a little flowery i can relate to a little bit. But just because i can be flowery and sugary doesnt mean i am being fake. i know us Libras can often be mistaken for being fake. This sign i feel is very misunderstood. We either come off like we are flirting with you when we are just being friendly or we come off fake when we are being genuine. You better thread carefully when you approach him with this bc its a high chance you might misunderstand his nature. Tbh we are romantic so if you can`t handle that than i suggest you shouldn`t date this guy. We are the sign that is in love with love after all and want to experience those romantic novels in real life

Heh, made me think of Ted (what a robotic Libra would be like, maybe with Cap moon for the attempted bribery & blackmail and very strict 50s view--not to say this is normal for either Libra sun or Cap moon, just a robotic version like that).

But in all seriousness, this isn't normal for charming Libra, or any other sign.

It sounds to me like the guy is hiding something. Though this could mean he's someone to flee from, it's not necessarily so. It could just be he was the kid everyone picked on at school with distant parents and now the only way he knows how to relate are from books, but he's still learning the motions. And about everyone goes through the motions (even come up with special voices they think are seductive or cute) rather than being authentic, it's just with enough practice it comes off seamlessly (and the people wearing the masks may even come to mistake the masks they wear for their own face), but in this case he didn't get to practice until much later in life and so is still learning. It could also be that he was raised in a cult that isolated and homeschooled him and now that he finally got away (or did he?), he's struggling to learn how to cope in everyday society (which includes playing the roles he's expected to play). He could be very loyal to one who helped him adjust...or not.

Thats the way I feel, he is hiding something.

I don't think its about his family because I have met them and they are very loving towards him. As for trauma, recently his short-term GF left him. He says she was mental and had a sexual assault in her childhood and has told everyone who will listen about it to clear his name.. but he is nice about it and says I am telling everyone so she gets help. He talks about mental health a lot. Many people in his life have been deemed "crazy".

Again, its not necessarily bad that I want to flee but the robotic overthinking nature does make me uncomfortable in his presence. I just want to help him get out of his head.

I tell him to stop sometimes but he acts sad and starts talking in a baby voice and doing baby speak about how I don't like it and he will miss doing this! Sigh..
