So i'm still trying to understand how yods work---they involve some kind of gift or calling? But bring difficulty too?My own chart is Yod-less, but I just noticed that (if I'm reading it right) my daughter has a natal yod with her Leo Mars, Capricorn Pluto and Pisces Neptune. Mars is in her 4th house conjunct her Moon-IC. Does this mean she'll struggle especially with expressing her Mars? Or express her Mars with extra intensity? IP: Logged |

I have a similar yod in my chart. Moon-Mars conjunction, Jupiter in Leo and Uranus in Capricorn (the apex). I've never struggled to express my independent/rebellious side but it typically comes out at random times and usually following a crisis or breaking point. I think the key is to learn how to work with all of the energies of the yod as harmoniously as possible. Or at least to learn to accept that at some point the planet at the apex is going to act out (usually when a transit or progression hits it). However, even the times when my apex has acted up, it's had beneficial affects.IP: Logged |

I think anything with Jupiter in the mix is sort of wonderful, StubbornVirgo. My daughter is also a stubborn Virgo! I wonder if Moon-Mars in any sign makes for a very strong will. I can imagine that when her Mars is activated, it will be beneficial, even if she acts out. IP: Logged |
