I've hear parallels are most prominent when orbs are within 10 seconds, def needs to be exact, like within a degree. It's suppose to be like a shadow conjunction, so I think it just hi lights planet significance and certain planets that are more emphasized with each other like for example, my sun/Mars/Mercury are in conjunction, when I look at declinations they are also within 0 degrees orb and closely parallel, strengthening the significance of the conjunction. Also, my Pluto is parallel my Mars within 6 seconds. To me I think this shows how prominent my Pluto is, I always feel very Plutonian, but with my longitude angles Pluto is on my DC conjunct Venus.. I wish there was more on parallels! Seems like it's a topic thats pretty significant but not that much info on IP: Logged |

MermaidDreamz, your Sun and Venus are pretty closely parallel in south declination - 'S' - with both contra-parallel Pluto. That is the equivalent of having a conjunction of Sun and Venus opposite Pluto. These parallel and contra-parallel aspects are active within an orb of 1 - 1.5°, and I believe nearer 2° if it is a Sun-Moon aspect. There is nothing about the parallel aspect that correlates to psychic ability. Parallels are conjunctions of declination. How the aspect is characterized depends upon the planets involved. Conjunctions and parallels simply show that two (or more) planets are working in unison, their energies blended, a point of emphasis in the chart. ------------------ The Declinations Guy Rising Sign Descriptions | Expert rectification ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ IP: Logged | |
