I could not tell anyone if I have a past life and if am correct about my hypothesis. I do know I do dream about combat quite often. These dreams are vivid and it does feel like it is in south east Asia. IP: Logged |

Interesting question. We've "met" before on another thread about your yods, I believe. I've found that the nodes, given their multi-dimensionality, and the south node specifically, is relevant when considering past life issues. Although a south node conjunct Mars or in Aries suggests past lives or a life as a soldier or warrior more directly, a south node in the 10H, but on the 11H cusp suggests that you were swept up in events relating to larger social, environmental, and/or political forces, and that your autonomy and individuality were subsumed by collective imperatives. Also significant is the south node's conjunction to Saturn. This suggests a number of elements or factors of sacrifice, deprivation, hardship, or a burdensome nature of responsibility. This would be consistent with what you're describing being drafted in a war. Saturn in the 11H in general tends to feel isolated, vulnerable, or uncomfortable in social situations, has a hard time feeling part of a group, or the collective is a source of suffering in some way. This may be a carryover from a past life or what Stanislav Grof calls a "coex system." This simply means a theme which repeats from one life to another. An example would be hanging in a previous life and almost being strangled by the umbilical cord during birth in the current life. The south node conjunct Saturn in the 11H especially suggests that feelings and attitudes about the relationship to groups, society, or collective have been colored by difficult past life experiences and there may be fears and strong defenses that are triggered in group situations. I think the Pluto square to the south node and Saturn is also consistent with experiences of violence and proximity to death, which is also consistent with being in a war. Pluto square the nodes is a configuration that astrologer, Jeff Green, calls a "skipped step," which if you're not familiar with the term basically points to issues that carry over into this lifetime that need resolution, understanding, or healing. Pluto square the nodes suggests that you've come into this lifetime having experienced situations of danger, extremity, and crisis and that you know how to survive. Perhaps, that resolution or healing can come through a close connection within a loving "family," however you define that given a 4H north node, and/or a wisdom and insight that comes through delving into your own psyche's richness and depth. Capricorn has enormous range encompassing the heights and the depths, symbolized by the goat with a fish tail. In Capricorn, it may also mean experiencing a sense of responsibility that comes from love rather than duty. Just a thought. IP: Logged |

Interesting enough, I have 9H Aries and can relate to the dreams bit that MIGHT be indirectly related to a past life.I don't feel like going into the details of this (it would be a very long story if I did), but I believe (assuming the stuff I and others have come up with is true) that I was alive during the time of the Vietnam War, but did not go. However, I was involved in some pretty intense stuff in the USA and murdered over it. An interesting bit is that as a 15-year-old runaway on the streets (this life) I met an old Vietnam Veteran (we called him Pappy) and we got along (and if the past life recall is real then I knew him in the previous life which could explain a lot about how we got along). Shortly before he died (not sure if it was an accident or suicide) he got very intense with me and told me of some really bad stuff to happen in Vietnam. I'm not in the mood to describe it, but he was very intense, and I felt he put a piece of his soul in me. For many years after I would honor his memory at Samhain with candles and incense and tell him what I'd learned (it was a request of his) until I felt he had found some peace. The reason I bring it up is that when he "put a piece of his soul in me" I started having dreams of the Vietnam War, a surreal experience. Who knows, maybe you absorbed these memories from someone. Just saying, I don't really know, of course. IP: Logged |

I'm cyrious, could someone tell me about my past life? My southen node is in the 6th in pisces. Pisces covers my 6th and 7th house, my vertex conjunct my dc. I'm not the best at these things. From others I have been told I was a workaholic and various other things. I was born July 2 1979 at 12:35 in Greensboro NC. Thank you for anyone who can help!!IP: Logged |

Super cool!! I bet your having past life impressions thru your dreams! So neat, I think there are many different layers to dreams, but very vivid, realistic dreams like that I think are memories of past lives for sure. especially when the soul goes thru a shocking experience like that. @Pixie I agree and liked your story! I think pieces of other people can totally become one within another.. I mean I believe we are all connected down to the smallest and biggest sense of cosmos.

I was in Vietnam. Witnessed the Napalm attack on a village of innocent civilians, just missed rescuing a baby from a burning hut. This recall came to me 15 years ago and will never stop haunting me, maybe even a thousand years from now. After this, my life takes a turn for the worse: Desertion to a top notch Mercenary who has no belief in any government/political cause. Did not last too long as return is 1977.IP: Logged |

my south node is in 10th house,my 10th is ruled by Aries but node is in taurus on 4th degreeMy mars is in virgo in 2nd house on 11th degree - venus as ruler of my south node is in gemini in 11th conjuncting mercury Even though this might seem like good case of wartime past life,i am not so sure about it. I dont like war movies and documentaries, like atall, and they say that you might have aversion twords things that ended badly for you in past life,buut...idk it might be me seeing war as what it is,its not fun,its not interesting, people die, people are under stress, people go against eachother and i dont want to watch that. I also dont like watching anything related to vikings - IP: Logged |
