A guy I was/am (depending on what you call it!) romantically involved with, has:

NN in Capricorn ruled by saturn
SN in cancer ruled by moon

he has saturn exactly conjunct moon in capricorn, conjunct north node by 3 degrees, opposite chiron in caner.

I wouldn't call him heartless, he is in fact very poetical and caring (sag sun, leo asc.).

In his 25 years of life, he has always been running away from cold/controlling type of women (including his mother and older sister, which he respects greatly despite their behaviors toward him), yet he keeps attracting them and always ends up having to work for these type of women (this conjunction is in his 6th house).

He is a divorce child and has been battling bipolar disorder for many years.

It seems that when he decides to break off from this type of women, his depressed mood gets out of control. He has this need to have such strong women in his life to push him forward. Also when he gets involved with the opposite type of women (women with lots of water/emotion in their chart, like myself), he turns into a cheater, liar and a ruthless party addict monster which soon backfires at him in the shape of deep depression and emptiness.

He is one of very few people I have met whom I sensed to be "doomed". Meaning that he has to be controlled by cold women even though he hates them, and if he decides to break free and open up to more feelings and hanging out with free soul type of people (like him leaving his mother and older sister 2 years ago to live in my city and hang out, and then getting into a messy party life, going broke and depressed recently, and having to go back to live with them again) his life would be endangered, unless he can find a balance between his own inner emotions (his bipolar disorder).

------------------
pisces moon
taurus midheaven
leo ascendant
taurus sun
cancer mars and venus
