Astrology Behind Preference for City or Rural Living. What planets/placements shows this? I need opinions/experiences

Where do you live? City or a Rural Area

What is your preference?

Astrologically why do you think this is?

the only fixed points on the earth that would be different for cities around the world is the north/south pole fixed in certain houses, all points in outer space are contantly rotating through the houses, but the north and south poles are always fixed to the houses because they spin to the earth; ie they will always be in the 5th/11th house for example at a certain part.

they need to develop calculators for each city where the north south pole is.

I like the city. Some nature once in a while. But rural living drives me nuts, depressed and aggressive.

Maybe it's my Gemini nature. I need stimulation. Boredom has terrible consequences.

Idk

I would look at the 4th house.

Mine is in Gemini, and true to the twin dual nature of Gemini, I like both city and country settings.

Ive loved living in cities but I yearn for countryside more. I think it might be to do with sag moon because it feels like a soul need to connect with space, big skies etc. I like water too. Moon conj Neptune.

eh,i love nature for awhile, you know for vacations and random camping with friends, but for a living a city is my pick.

I live in small city, its perfect for the most time, sometimes i wish there were more things going on but then i remember all the reasons why i love my city exactly as it is and i am fine completly.

my 4th is in libra with venus in gemini conjuncting mercury,i am also gemini...so a change of landscape is welcome, but order and amount of people city has is more preferable to me.

I'm a strong 4th house/cancer influenced person, and I grew up in the city, and consider this as my home. I really enjoy the countryside as well, but somehow it can get a bit too deserted and isolated for me. I love the city life, the night-life in big cities, and that a lot of stuff is happening. Deep down I think I will always love the city a bit more, but I also really appreciate to get out of town and enjoy the silence, fresh air, beautiful nature and calmness on the countryside.

I think if I ever get a huge family with many kids and a nice husband, I'll move to the countryside, but I would prefer to be really in a big social community.

I will tackle this question from a contextual perspective i.e where one feels they are in their life etc.

My Mom is Taurus Moon and in her late years she felt that she had done all she had to do with her life, and moved back to the country.

She says that she has no intention of ever coming back to the city ever again. But i think that is also because of Ic influence i.e ones life "winding" down and them wanting to enjoy the remaining years more connected and centered around home.

I wouldn't say that everyone with this Moon would do this. But I think there is something about the city and the Mid-heaven vs. the countryside and the Ic.

When we are still chasing our dreams(Mid- heaven), we want to be where all the action is. To ascend to the top etc. So people will often say to us "Why don't you move to a bigger city?"

But when we are done with all that and whether or not we have achieved our goals, there does come a sort of detraction from all the noise and buzz. So we say "I so much would like peace and quiet in my life".

This we may feel to such an extent that we move to a quiet neighborhood, close to the ocean or the countryside etc.

Some people live in the city their whole lives. And others in the country their whole lives.

But I think my point here is that even in those circumstances, those in the city may choose to live just outside of the central hub when their call for corporate climbing is done.

And those who are in the country may prefer to live in the more industrialized part of the country when they are ambitious for their business to grow and expand etc.

I kinda agree but I am asking from a more personal/conceptual perspective and asking people to use their own astrology, interpretations and imaginations.

For me I grew up and always lived in cities. I don't hate the city but sometimes I am really attracted to more rural living.

City Living
I love the convenience, freedom, opportunity and anonymity.
In my natal chart. It could be my:
Mars in Aquarius, Leo Rising, Sun/Mercury Aries that can explain why I like the city

At the same time, sometimes I think city living doesn't fit my personality.

Rural/Small town living
Nature, Silence, Stronger Community Ties,

In my natal chart. It could be my:
Venus in Pisces, Scorpio IC, & 12th House Cancer placements could explain why I am drawn to smaller towns/rural life.

Very much the same.

I'm very mercurial, my mercury conjuncts or trines several placements in my chart.

Cities provide lots of people to meet, greet and exchange ideas with.

Plus, I have a Capricorn rising and the city is where meaningful employment is.

I was raised in the big city, my parents would always ride with us to the countryside, aldough we always would find our fun there, we always made a problem to go there.
I have 3 plantes in the 11th house so I want to take part in society, and the society I new back than was my school.
But I never realy adapted to the city life, I have pluto and uranus strongly aspecting personal planets of mine, so I rebel.
And i have pieces moon, and I don`t know what else but thinks never went that well in social behaviour, something like that.
I feld well with the group of friends that we formed, but did not do much the year after leaving school.
I realy don`t like the thinks you are obli ged to endure if you live in the city.
now I live in the countryside, but I am not a child anymore, I like it, I see ämore purpose in it.
But we moved as a family, and I also am a Cancer with strong 4th house.
