I have the exact trine and I am just gorgeous Ok, but seriously. You have to 1st define what "attractive" is to you. I think being attractive is attitude and one's comfortability in their own body. No matter the size, height or weight etc. I think the Sun in aspect to the Ascendant can give one a heightened need to take on a more leadership position (Much like Aries Asc). And want to be seen. One may also care a great deal about one's image(like Asc in Cap) and be a little more tenacious. Because to be a leader, people must have faith in you and take you seriously. I see the Solar individual as a little more "royal"in attitide than Jupiter(who is usually the respected teacher or jester). In that the Solar individual just seems like they are "important"-even if not necessarily in the highest position. You just treat them with that sense and feel that they are important. The Sun in aspect to the Asc may add this to the person and make them come across important. The reason is that there is a projection of confidence, vivacity and self direction that has a commanding presence when with others. And people are usually attracted to confidence. IP: Logged |

Ok thanks for your reply I thought having Sun trine or sextile AC would give the person a friendly aura. quote: Originally posted by Aries23Degrees: I have the exact trine and I am just gorgeous Ok, but seriously. I have Sun trine AC 3°24 my Sun is in Taurus and my AC is in Leo. I look younger than my age but I'm not sure if that has to do with this aspect. quote: Originally posted by Radium: I have Sun Trine ASC nearly exact by 0.04 degrees and scorp ACIve been told I'm good looking a lot but I don't see it, people treat me like I'm super confident all the time and I'm not

Yes! I have a 5th house sun in Pisces trine my Scorpio Ascendant, and I also look younger than my actual age (I probably act younger than I should at times, too). IP: Logged |

I have the sextile on my Sun/AC and the trine Sun/MC (Lib). I've been compared to a few above attractive people. Idk, to me beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I think it adds presence and normally presence is an attractive feature, but not in the venusian way. people with this aspect may have a commanding presence even if not particularly attractive.IP: Logged |

Yes beauty is in the eye of the beholder right? I think that Sun trine or sextile AC gives someone natural confidence I imagine which always helps, is always a plus and it increases attractiveness. IP: Logged |

To put it in simple terms, if the ASC is our surface self (the "mask" that we wear) and the Sun is the core of our being - our true self (ego) - then naturally if these two forces combine in harmony then you would project your most authentic self to others, which would make you naturally confident.Alternatively, if you have ASC square Sun you are perhaps LESS naturally confident because the expression of your true self is conflicted. One might feel like the image they project to others does not match how they feel on the inside, and so because of this conflict one might come across a little awkward or unusual. I don't think it has anything to do with being physically attractive. Genetics plays the biggest part in that no matter what. IP: Logged |

I dont think the ascendant is just a mask though, many astrologers disagree with that analogy. The ascendant is instinctual and is how you react automatically to your environment so is actually a deeply ingrained response that comes from early development and is definitely a big part of who you are and your personality. I hate it when the ascendant is belittled to a mask. My husband has Taurus rising and believe me he has very strong evident Taurus traits. A lot of virgo risers, I feel are way more Virgo than me too. Is like the ascendant since is your instinctual response to your environment puts the quality of those signs more in your face for you to clearly see so that is why it seems like a mask I guess but it affects your personality deeply and your interactions with others so saying is just a mask really minimizes the influence of it largely IMO.IP: Logged |
