I doubt anyone has the answer but am asking just in case...

Mercury rules my 8th and is RX natally and mercury right now is RX as well..

Is it a bad time to apply for a mortgage loan and buy a house or good for me bc my mercury is natally Rx?

Well, I don't mean to say conclusively that it's one way or the other. I'm simply giving my experience.

The other twist is that my natal mercury is direct. My progressed mercury is retrograde.

Whether or not my communication is better, I feel like it is. Maybe not in ways that others will like any better but it feels like I'm less misunderstood than usual. Though misunderstanding is the story of my life pretty much. I guess that's another topic.

I've bought a new vehicle during this retrograde and made an investment. The last vehicle that I bought was during mercury retrograde and it was great for me. Never an issue! It's traded now.

Finally, I looked up traffic tickets that I've gotten over the years and plugged in each date. You know, not a single one occurred during retrograde. All were while it was direct. (None in the last four years. Whew!)

My natal merc is retro. Once during merc retro we rented a place that turned out ti be pretty bad (cracked walls, black mold etc...) During merc retro, it seems that I tend to be quite absent minded and miss out a lot of details. I can be like that naturally (sag merc retro), but merc retro periods seem to bring those traits out even more.

So if it applies to you, then I'll say be extra careful. I've just signed a contract yesterday, hah I spent extra time going over everything.

I have natally RX Mercury, and I used to think that when Mercury was retrograde it was a good time for me because I had so many new ideas, but they didn't lasted, and I saw that whatever started at that time came to an untimely end. I also read that Linda wrote negatively about these times even in regard to RX Mercury people, So I would advise you to wait till the end of the month.

Thank you! It will go direct SEP 22, I was thinking of starting process on Friday on the eclipse and sign anything after it goes direct.

Try this for natal Mercury RX and see how it feels for you:

According to Schulman for someone with natal Mercury Rx the thought process is based in the subconscious rather than the conscious mind. This means the learning process is more Right Brain than Left Brain; you absorb the essence rather than the details. For this reason, may score lower on standardized or facts oriented tests than others.
Needs creative outlets that require non-verbal communication, such as music and painting etc. Musical geniuses often have Merc rx natal.

You'd better wait 5 days after it goes direct to sign the contract. It is advised to take 5 days before and after the RX as precaution (there is still an influence 5 days before and after).
