There is very little material on the web concerning transits to the node. With this particular transit, what do you think I should expect?

I actually found one youtube video that makes sense, but regardless I'd like to hear opinions.

A transiting planet conjunct the south node will in the same time oppose the north node and that’s how I mainly see this transit.

From my experiences, this means that the north node issues (our purpose in life) might be temporarily put on hold or will be more difficult to attain or will become confused or unclear, etc. With Neptune involved, some confusion regarding life direction is even more likely to occur. I can feel transits to my nodes but I know people who are not affected at all. Much will depend on your NN-SN placements and signs. In some cases, the SN issues are strengthened by the conjunction.

Thank you, Gemmi, for the information, and you sharing your story! I felt confusion regarding my life purpose, but things are getting clearer for me by the day. In the video I saw the astrologer said that this transit brings the need to let go of fantasies that do not serve your life purpose, and walk along hand in hand with a major disappointment. It happened with me, when I've realised a certain long-held dream of mine is not that important for my real life purpose, and I am going through the transit at this time. Neptune is also opposite now my natal Saturn, which is conjunct my NN. I do not know how your experience as a child, how the disappontment you went through helped shaping your life later on, if it did at all, besided hurting your self image. Do you think there was any good at all coming out of this experience?

Hard Neptune transits can manifest in many ways but in general you have to really pay attention to your hopes and dreams during that time and make sure they are not illusions as things are often not what they seem. I had tr Neptune square MC until last year and I did try to achieve something that was not good for me in the long run.
With Neptune, the thing is that at the end of the transit the fog should lift and you DO get some clarification. The first passes are normally the most dangerous and deceptive.

Are you having any Saturn transits now in the same time? They would ground you and help you see things much more clearly. I don’t know your personal situation so it’s tricky to give advice (especially since you are under Neptune transit) but generally with tr Neptune, it is not recommended to make drastic changes in your life especially based on any new value system.

As for my story, this experience shaped me for sure and I can see many good aspects of how things panned out. For example, I don’t get easily discouraged with disappointments or setbacks, I deal with them, pick myself up and just move on, as life is full of ups and downs. But after what happened I did need a series of several Pluto transits, years later, to find my own power and show what I am really made of

Hi Gemmi. I am making a change in my life, but it's for the best. And I am letting go of a past illusion.
In December Saturn will conjunct exactly my natal Neptune and oppose my moon-Mars conjunction. It also square its own place right now, and it recently squared exactly my NN. Soon it will trine my Mercury-Jupiter conjunction, quincunx my Chiron, and sextile my Pluto. So that's a lot of grounding, isn't it?

Hi Ayelet. Wow, you will have a lot of Saturn transits! I’ve had several hard Saturn transits since last year (to Venus, MC, Moon, ASC, Sun) and I had to make a few important life decisions. Some were very painful but necessary. I trust Saturn, at least whatever the true is, it becomes clear during its transits. And it becomes obvious what must be done.
I will also have tr Saturn conjunct Neptune, from February 2017. I am really curious about this one, I hope it will help make dreams more real.

Neptune aligned with the South Node is aligned with a lunar principle; with the North Node, with the solar principle. So with the S. Node it is important to not take occurrences, dreams, intuitions literally, but sift through them over time at a feeling/intuitive level.

It is a time in which one should be careful in romanticizing one's past and upbringing, or developing any illusions about it and its relevance to your current life. It can be a time in which it is hard to see your innate talents or abilities objectively, and you may find yourself wanting to simply exist for a while in a non-ordinary reality. Be careful about slipping into inferiority complexes.

At both ends of the nodal axis Neptune's transits can help bring back a sense of spirituality, but this may not involve religion and folks should be cautious about appeals made to them by stronger personalities for conversion or being drafted into such things. They almost certainly will turn out to be something other than what is sold to them.

The crux of the relationship between Neptune and the Nodes relates to matters of spiritual vision, destiny, prophecy, insight into the unknown, the more mystic aspects of existence that religion has long attempted to claim for its own. Some people may find they become more interested in these things and let go of more conventional religious adherence. Any of these would be better than the worst escapisms in which slides into addiction or slow suicidal behaviors begin.

In my view it is best to get more in touch with our dreams. They may become more active and vivid even if we don't seek that. So it can be good to keep a bedside notebook to write things down, maybe a dream interpretation book as well to put them into perspective rather than fall into any anxiety that might come from taking them literally or otherwise giving them an inappropriate interpretation.

I also hope tr Saturn conjunct Neptune will manifest in realizing dreams. I'm taking some courses in a new field this year + volunteer work, all in preparation to a plan I have. Hope everything work for the best. I also hope Saturn opposite moon-Mars won't feel too tense, and will bring some benefits along with it. It sounds very nice, how you trust Saturn to keep the real things and make them stay.

I do write my dreams. And I recently have many of them, and they have many details. I'm dream8ng of stories and different characters or having conversations with people from my past or present, and sometimes with people unknown to me.

I am not into one religion or another, rather into all of them. And I didn't feel a hightened sense of spirituality, but I feel better, happier.
