maybe if you choose her city as the one she's moving to now, with the same date and time of birth, if would give a different rising sign? for instance a person born on may 10th 1991 at 11:24 AM in Russia, will have a different rising sign than one in the U.S the difference in Ac will only happen when moving to another place with a very different longitude/latitude though also, in calculating the solar arc, different places a person celebrates their birthday in a year, gives different ACs she still might have meant something else though, so please share with us if you find out! Yeah I thought of this too, but she described it like where she lived for 20 years she had a Cancer rising and her natal is a Leo Rising.. So natally changing the rising i'm not sure .. Perhaps another chart type?

I think she's referring to her relocation chart. You take your natal and put in a new reference location, in which the chart shifts based on your location. That might explain her change in ascendant. ------------------ Scorpio Ascendant Aquarius Sun in 4th Gemini Moon in 8th Check out my blog ya'll: www.electrodgxtalks.wordpress.com IP: Logged |

lisalisa:Why don't you ask her? Many astrologers subscribe to the notion that they need to relocate their birth chart to any place they move to. I do not. The birth chart is imprinted upon you permanently no matter where you move or go. It is a matter of choice mediated through a very space-time specific inter-dimensional doorway saturated in complex relational/karmic matters, not mere geographic happenstance. Otherwise we'd all be changing our rising sign every day we travel and wake up in a place other than the location where we were born. I think anyone can see how silly that is. I was born in Austin, TX, a 17° Virgo riser. I moved 7 years ago to Portland, OR and I am still a 17° Virgo riser -- not a 22° Virgo riser as the changed location would suggest. These notions come from theoretical astrologers who seem to over-think things and have trouble observing their own charts accurately. Unfortunately this one has been promoted by astrologers as hefty as Robert Hand, who I respect tremendously for his monumental works like Planets in Transit. But natal chart relocation is just skewed astrology. It is natal for a reason. Nativity: process or circumstances of being born. Moving later does not change those circumstances. ------------------ The Declinations Guy Rising Sign Descriptions | Expert rectification ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ IP: Logged |
