Sorry for spamming this thread with charts. One more, promise: I wonder if transiting NN was on their composite NN when they got together (even if they were only working together.) Sun-Saturn opp Venus on Vertex axis Tr Nessus on composite Marion, she's going to be under fire for this.... IP: Logged |

Wowee @ that synastry! I'm not usually one for asteroids but his name asteroid conjunct her NN and her name asteroid conjunct his Venus/Moon (and both so tightly!) is pretty wild. t.Jupiter is nearing her Sun and Brad is going through a Jupiter opp Jupiter transit. Maybe a time of overindulgences for him? IP: Logged |

I have it too. Plus Venus in 11H. It CAN be bad if other partner in relationship is stifling. I am like a cat: keep me guessing. keep me wondering. keep me coming for you. keep me ignited. IP: Logged |

Yes, a beast indeed,Venus square Uranus will get you every time. The native may say or think they want commitment, but they start feeling trapped and confined in any type of relationship that is steady and committed and sooner or later, they will break through. And the saddest thing is that they're not even aware that they are messing up their relationships That's why when I see it in synastry, I have learned to stay away. I don't care what anyone else says, nothing long lasting comes out of this aspect.

I'm not in a relationship with this person but I have Venus square Uranus with someone in synastry I'm Uranus but would this aspect still be so bad being as though I have it in my natal? The other person doesn't have a Venus/Uranus aspect in their chart though.

The new moon eclipse at 9 degree of Virgo was a grand cross involving her sun in Gemini, Saturn conjunct Mars in Sagg, and Neptune in Pisces. And T Uranus is now sitting at the highest point of her chart so what we see now is her Uranian side. IP: Logged |

I dunno. It's eclipse time, and things done during eclipses are pretty much etched in time. But you're right mercury retro can be a beast too, so We shall see when mercury goes direct. IP: Logged |

So the onus is on the partner to keep you interested. Not in you getting grounded and appreciating steadiness and commitment. See, that's why I stay away from this aspect. I have venus sextile Uranus so I can appreciate some Uranus Venus interaction, but for me, the hard aspects are too much. IP: Logged |

I liked them as a couple too. I think the relationship was over a long time ago, and that they were just keeping up appearances.Angie is Cancer rising, so a big part of her really wants family and children and commitment, even though her Venus square Uranus pulls her into the opposite.

So there would be a conflict between her Cancer rising and Venus square Uranus? quote: Originally posted by Belage: [QUOTE]Originally posted by Dancing Maenad: [b]Ahh, too bad. I liked them.

yep. I think so. That's one instance where astrological guidance would have been of help, to understand and balance conflicting drives. A good astrologer could have helped her find a way to act out the Venus square Uranus, while still statisfying Cancerian's need for family and stability. IP: Logged |

Do you think the Venus square Uranus aspect could have been part of the reason why she decided to get a divorce? quote: Originally posted by Belage: yep. I think so. I wouldn't be so quick to fear this aspect or speak in absolute terms because there are NO absolutes in astrology. Each aspect plays out differently for each individual. Don't forget these are CELEBRITIES and they live a life unlike our own "normal" lives. The divorce rate for celebrities is much higher statistically so the odds were stacked against them from the start. I know a couple who BOTH have Venus square Uranus in their own natal charts, PLUS Venus square Uranus in their composite which many astrologers would say is one kiss of death to a relationship. They've been together I think close to 8 years now, married for 6 and seem very happy. They have a baby now too. I can't see them getting divorced unless something catastrophic happens. I think the thing with this aspect is there must be a HUGE base of friendship in an intimate relationship - more emphasis on friendship and less on romance. Friendships by nature are more breezy and light and I think this is what a Venus/Uranus individual needs ultimately to feel satisfied in that department.
