I've been looking into Antiscia and the idea of Solstice Points in the chart. Taking a quick look, I noticed that I have Venus Solstice Point on my Ascendant and Mars, along with my Mars and Asc solstice point being opposite Regulus exact. The latter is not necessary, but how would I interpret this Venus conjunction? Would I interpret it like a regular conjunction or is there something I should be taking into consideration? ------------------ Scorpio Ascendant Aquarius Sun in 4th Gemini Moon in 8th Check out my blog ya'll: www.electrodgxtalks.wordpress.com IP: Logged |

I would definitely take it into consideration. It's somewhat like a conjunction; I've seen it described as a "likeness" or relationship, where the planets "see each other" and presumably affect each other. Not sure how that works with angles though.More information: http://www.skyscript.co.uk/antiscia.html ---- For other readers, if they don't know what we're talking about... To find solstice points, aka antiscia and contrascia: 1) Enter data at astro.com 2) Choose "Munich Rhythm Method" for Chart Drawing Style 3) Click on Additonal PDF tables 4) Scroll down and there they are. The first column is the contrascia (opposing the antiscia) and the second column is the antiscia. Also: quote: Whenever a planet's antiscion is aspected by transit or progression, it indicates that something that is hidden or working behind the scenes will occur in the life of the native. It is important, therefore, that one should look at the antiscia points whenever reading a horoscope because it will reveal things about the native that will not be readily apparent.
