Hello!!So I was looking over the chart of my friend and of course like the title says he doesn't know his birth time!! So we went with a noon one. I told him I'd see if I could get someone to try to figure out his ascendant based on his features..so here we go! He's an Aqua sun, with possibly a late Libra or early Scorpio moon (depending on if he was born in the morning or afternoon). Some of his traits are that he's very diplomatic and friendly. But he also knows how to make people feel comfortable enough to where they will open up to him and will sometimes use it against them (i'm just being honest). He can seem a bit to idealistic about certain things and I feel I have to pull him back down to reality sometimes. Also when he gets an idea in his head, he usually will run with it but won't think about the details. Sometimes he lacks foresight on things. His motto is "I'll deal with any problems when we come to it" even though a lot of things could be avoided if he just planned better. Anyway in my own opinion I think he's an Aries ascendant, given the emphasis of his forehead and hairline, also the impulsiveness. But that could also be given to the fact that he has his Mars and Venus in Aries. What do you guys think? IP: Logged |

Is it because of his nose? That crossed my mind too. Thanks for your input! Anybody else?

Yeah my first thought was Aries Rising too! Moon in the 7th in Libra. You'd notice a Scorpio Moon, they really do struggle to adapt emotionally and find it hard to forgive. It's an immensely sensitive Moon sign. He could easily have Venus conjunct Asc too, adding to all that Libra-ness. :-) IP: Logged |

By the way, the best way to do a good rectification is to look at the outer planets crossing the angles that you've guessed and to count the solar arcs too.I did that with an ex-boyfriend and neither of us questioned it for a minute once we'd gone through the transit timings... :-) IP: Logged |

Hmm, so I did some tweaking to try and recreate what you just suggested and in order for him to have a 7th house moon in Libra he'd have to be a Pisces ascendant and even then it puts it right at a 29.59 degrees. So basically in order for him to have an Aries rising he'd have to have a Scorp moon. To be honest though, the way he describes how he makes people feel comfortable then likes to "catch them" slipping up or whatever seems rather sneaky, manipulative and Scorpio like. IP: Logged |

Ha that old problem with some of the Ascendants being shorter than others! Do you *feel* he could be a Scorpio Moon then?I was only guessing the Moon in 7th... I suppose Aries Rising, plus Scorpio Moon AND in the 8th House is very very unlikely based upon how easy going he sounds. Back to the drawing board- I usually end up coming with a few different charts because the house placements don't always feel right and a Mars square, conjunct or opposite Ascendant is going to behave similarly to Aries Ascendant anyway ;-) Maybe the Leo Rising guess is more likely? I was thinking because of his smile, jawline, and personality traits. Aries looks very possible to me but then he has Aries strongly in his chart already so it's difficult. IP: Logged |
