Besides brooding, penetrating eyes is there any specific about Scorpio Moon's appearance that stands out? It could be something about their face, voice, or body. Or the way they smile, gesture, or walk. The way they style their hair/clothes/make-up/etc. IP: Logged |

Well I am a scorp moon... we have very intense eye look and if not then very curious look on face. But moon rules emotional area or mind so physically won't affect untill and unless it is in 1st house. When we talk we will have animated conversations esp. if it is about something we believe in.We will have very intense convos with close people. We will have very dark thoughts but for other people we will keep it fun and won't let them see the dark side. P.S. I like black, red, purple colors. And we dress dramatic. Well I should say in extremes. Either I dress the best or like a beggar and that's a proven fact. I don't like make up at all. I like to keep it simple all the time. When I feel very good or happy I dress in black or red. IP: Logged |

I have a Scorpio moon. I've usually read that moon sign can tell you about the eyes but not much else unless 1st house or near ascendant. I have very dark eyes and dark hair. I used to dress dark and "gothy" but now I am more about comfort and I'm less extreme. I'm not sure how much of my look has to do with my moon. I am Libra rising and everything I want to say about my appearance actually just sounds like Libra rising hehe.EDIT: re: animated and intense....yes. Very much yes. I don't find there to be much question if someone has a Scorpio moon. Most I know tend to bend towards dark humor but in a very casual way. Personally I will go full intensity to anyone that seems interested and relatively nice. But thinking about it, I always seem emotionally quite open, when in reality there is a level to which I share freely but the intensity and reality can be far more than I like to share. IP: Logged |

I know a scorpion moon girl. She's got dark hair and big pretty dark eyes. She's pretty cool, gets irritated easily. Idk if moon shows your physical traits but she's short and kinda chunky, or slightly top heavy at least. Is if that's cuz she's a Taurus though.IP: Logged |

Very guarded and likely not to reveal much about themselves. They often have thoughts of some kind of "invasion" of privacy-either personal information about themselves being made public, secrets held within being revealed, physical violence and especially sexual violation or intrusion. There is always some vibe of "I don't know what is happening here, but i don't trust anyone" to them. They may be highly perceptive. But this perception is often used to their defense to have power "over" others than power within. They don't forget a slight and can be cold . Very cold . But they also don't forget kindness extended to them. And when this happens, they can slowly let their guard down. Looks vary but i notice most males i have known tend to wear a hood, a cap, glasses,don a full beard or "hide" in some way from showing their full physical appearance. Even some females will dress in a conservative fashion to ward off attention(especially sexual). Or "hide" their more generous proportions etc. But even with this being the case, most people are drawn to them anyways-albeit their tendency toward concealing apparel or hiding behind clothes. One of my closest male friends has moon in scorpio.He is the most difficult friend to be with because even the (small) wrong gesture/words that I do not know it will offend him, he gets offended. There's a "don't ask too much about my personal life/I don't trust you" vibe from him, that's why I almost never ask him about his personal life too deep. Even if I ask his personal experience so that I can learn from him, he feels uncomfortable and tells little. He rarely wears black (never wears red too I've noticed), I think he is afraid that it will reveal his true emotions. He admits to me that he is a very possessive and jealous person in relationship. He LOVES, I mean REALLY LIKE SEX that sometimes it scares me if he starts reveal it out of the blue and I quickly try my best to change the subject because I feel awkward. lol. Physicality, I don't see his moon out there but when you start having a conversation or getting close, the "secretive/don't trust anyone" vibe can be felt (although some people can be tricked by his lighthearted/love humor interactions). If you are a sensitive person, you can notice how easily they get offended and create some withdrawal moodiness/will start not revealing anything/being quiet often. Their emotions are heavy but they hide it very very well. My venus in pisces and I've been crushed by scorpio moon twice but I run away because I can see them in the darkness. Lol. If scorpio moon likes you, they will look at you like, well, like they are hungry about something that you hide. lol. And they will successful to earn your trust and know all your secrets. Just don't betray/lie to them because you're dealing with deep dark emotions. IP: Logged |

Scorpio moon here  well I'm a libra rising 29°01' (almost scorpio) Moon in the 1st house conjunct pluto but on a wide orb 8°02' but pluto still in the 1st house on my finest days I'm the nice libra good looking wearing colors and butterflies all over the place (with this sun conjunct venus in aries dressings on top  ) on my darkest days of bad mood (most of the time ) it's all about black black black and more black and it is showing on my face everybody knows I'm having a horrible mood without even saying a word just by looking at me Hmmm the eyes I would say I have intense look sometimes scary if I'm angry and I know how to use them very well IP: Logged |

My brother has a scorpio moon AND scorpio rising. He is EXTREMELY private and guarded. It doesn't bother me though because I have jupiter, north node, 11th and 12th house in scorpio AND an 8th house sun. He hides behind black glasses and wears a lot of hoodies. He is very serious and super quiet. He rarely makes eye contact. His eyes are very brooding. As much as he likes to remain an elusive, mysterious guy I know there are a lot of emotions under the surface. He likes to talk about death and the afterlife, but he is also very terrified of it. Hi Scarlett! You're right Asc is the main factor in appearance. imo Moon does play into it, but it's mostly how emotions lead to physical responses and expressions. Your favorite colors are Scorponic and I think Virgos and Scorps can dislike make-up too.IP: Logged |

I can see the mixture of Libra and Scorpio, ElizabethO. Your small smile in the first pic and the jacket give off Scorpio vibes. I'm not sure what sign black rimmed glasses are associated with, but I think maybe Virgo/Mercury and Scorpio/Pluto.IP: Logged |

@aries23degrees and @hearttreasure thank you both for your detailed posts! You both mentioned a lot about hiding and covering up mentally, emotionally, even physically through clothes.
Aries, I could even relate to some of things you said, because I am a Progressed Scorpio Sun. I am afraid- paranoid about my personal information becoming public. I don't hold grudges, but I do pay attention to how someone treats myself and others. I usually can tell pretty quickly whether that person and I will click.
Heart, I knew a guy with Scorpio Moon and Cancer Venus. He was very sweet and sensitive, but also offended easily. I'm not sure if he was someone who planned things in secrets or if he was someone who simply acted on impulse. Either way he was a bit unpredictable.IP: Logged |

Ari-Sco, I think it's funny that you wear black when you're upset or angry, but ScarlettO'Hara said earlier in the thread she wears black when she's happy lol! I wear a lot of black and gray in general whatever my mood is. If I'm happy sometimes I'll do something special with my hair or make-up.
Madeline, wow your brother sounds like a textbook Scorpio rising, but yeah lol, being his sister it makes sense that you have a close perspective and can see through his Scorpio ~mysteriousness.IP: Logged |

Hi Liliya. Black and gray clothes seem to be the Scorpio (Moon) trend here. Also understated clothes that aren't too flashy. A lot of hoodies lol. Understated make-up.
I like your look! I tried to think of who you reminded me of. Then I realized it was Katharine Isabelle of Ginger Snaps and Hannibal fame. I don't remember her natal chart atm, but I think she is a Scorpio Sun!!IP: Logged |
