Hopefully this isn't too big. This is how I imagine myself. Perched up somewhere trying to be alone. Trying to blend into my surroundings and always a mean look even though I'm merely observing. IP: Logged |

I live in a province where polar bears live, and have befriended the one at the zoo (I go to the zoo to make offerings and friendships, to honour those animal spirits... for a long time I didn't go to the zoo until I had a vision that those souls had chosen to incarnate there to hold space and transmit energy from this geographical location... a sacrifice, it seems, but a gift as well...).Anyway, like the polar bear, I am happy raising my young alone. I am strong and enjoy solitude, and can survive and thrive in harsh conditions. I also LOVE swimming!! The ones at the zoo are sooo inspiring underwater, kicking off from the rock walls and being generally incredible.. so beautiful . They're really good at relaxing too hehe... they really know how to lounge..

I have Leo Asc, but I really have no idea. I'm always drawn to birds, but different types during different times.I was recently informed by my very capable Shamanic healer that there was an animal spirit guide working with me, and he/she is a rattlesnake. I'm pleased with that, but I'm not sure if they would be my spirit animal totem. Do spiders count? I'm also quite drawn to spiders, in spite of the fact that a lot of people think that I hate them, lol. I'm just very interested in them, and mostly because I enjoy having them around. Outside. The ones who don't you know, like kill you or cause necrosis. Spiders and birds mostly just mind their business, don't pester anyone unduly, and get rid of a lot of unpleasant insects that I really don't want around. I'm drawn to birds, and I have a fondness and respect for spiders. As long as they're not invading my house or inherently dangerous. IP: Logged |

Hahahaha...I just took the quiz from the site I've been visiting, and got Lion.I don't know if that's really particularly accurate, as I'm not actually drawn to them at all. But it's a funny coincidence that the thread is about Rising signs and spirit animals, and I happen to be a Leo Rising. I'm going to have to go with honey badger. Some days. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4r7wHMg5Yjg

I love it too, hahaha. But I was only joking about it being my animal spirit guide, lol. I really still have no idea. But the rattlesnake is apparently helping me to heal, and to tap into my healing abilities. IP: Logged |

Growing up in an area where rattlesnakes are not uncommon, I never felt any affiliation with them...except that I would listen very carefully for them while walking through the pasture as a kid. What my Shaman explained to me is that as snakes are symbolic of healing and strengthening one's own healing abilities, rattlesnakes are also known specifically for healing childhood wounds, which makes sense as I've just recently returned to where I grew up. Interesting stuff, to me. But I like my rattlesnake. This has also given me a much deeper appreciation for them. IP: Logged |

Indeed Hypatia, I try to get a "touch of black" around me as possible, even in underwear, this is my favorite color

Interesting! I got the Tiger. Both Leo moon and Leo Asc:In the kingdom of spirit animals, the tiger puts a special emphasis on raw feelings and emotions. The tiger spirit animal symbolizes primal instincts, unpredictability, and ability to trust yourself. IP: Logged |
