True that. It takes a special type (usually the Pluto/8th h types). IP: Logged |

Come to think of it, I *have* done things like that. *sigh* There's a reason Sag follows Scorpio on the evolutionary ladder, I think. As Scorp types grow older, we realize the value of that little bit of sunshine. And try to reach out to be part of it ourselves. But don't always succeed.
I regret what I said at the start of this thread, it was a knee-jerk reaction. Truth is, I think it's beautiful if you are like that. Though it's also sad...Scorpio is a really hard sign...it's not a Scorpio's fault for feeling everything more deeply, and differently. I get really intense sometimes myself, but Sag Venus keeps a sense of humor usually, and that helps a lot. IP: Logged |

I moved overseas and he kept sending me regular emails... "so when are we going to make it legal?" or "Lets make it legal babe, we cant live in sin forever"... creepy, because we really didn't have much going. He would pick me up from my place, drive and park in front of restaurant and say 'give me 5 minutes babe' and he would just fall asleep. 1 hour like a log. Well, it was only funny the first time...
Too funny!!!

Uh-uh. I'm too tired to expand on that, though, so I'll have to sound like a five-year-old for now. IP: Logged |

Yeah, 8H moon can't help *but* be intense. Also, I think the Cap sun itself contributes ~ that Mergoat symbolism makes more n more sense to me each year. IP: Logged |

@Ami,Off the top of my head, I'd also like to add Aries sun and Leo sun as "Greased Lightning Placements". I guess it's something I appreciate especially 'coz my sun is in the "fall", but having a domicile/exalted sun (usually) gives them a sort of inner power to embody the principle of "life goes on". Even at the worst of times, they might lose their cool of course, just like the rest of us. But their basic perspective, underneath all the negativity that might have accumulated because of circumstance(s), is very *life affirming*. And I really admire that. They're built to be good at life. IP: Logged |

I know right? Hmm.. When you reach the ends of frustration there's nothing to do but laugh about the ridiculousness of it all. About this girl, I'm curious.. did she have any Cancer placements? :edit: Just that I think sometimes Cancer-types tend to see their perceived troubles through a different lens? I could be wrong. It's baffling to me why he would choose that over what really spoke to him on a deeper level. Can't help but think of it as a form of escapism. Not wanting to deal with the real thing? If the real thing would crumble, what would be left? Maybe, I don't know, of course.. **HUG** IP: Logged |

Thanks, Elysia! Yes, she is Cancer Jupiter. Either it rules her Sag moon or she has a Cap moon opposing it, but it's tied up with her moon somehow. So that does explain some things. Very perceptive guess! I hadn't even thought of it. quote: The entire scale of her problems is different.
That's exactly it. I'm sorry your friend just can't understand. That's frustrating, isn't it? And isolating, though I don't want to put words in your mouth....it would feel isolating to me. edit off topic again IP: Logged |

That used to be the case for me, but do you ever just feel like you're trying to beat a clock that is always going to win? Maybe it's my Moon/Venus conjunct the 8th house cusp, Scorpio ascendant... I don't know. I deleted a post about a little something that happened five years ago, that amused me - like one part of my chart, working against another (Gemini and/or Aries versus Scorpio, "Light" versus "dark" sort of thing) in a positive sense, but I'm feeling very self-protective right now. I don't like being "intense" around people, and don't like being too light for too long, either - I think that can bring about its own insensitivity at times (as can being lost in pain and fear). Thinking of myself here, nobody else. When I was happier/more content, I could amuse myself, and spend a lot of time alone. As I've become unhappier, I need to be doing more, need more distractions/to get out of the house. I'll edit that out soon. I need to get back on-topic. Effortlessly magical - that usually brings to mind Venus and/or Jupiter conjunct a personal planet. Or Venus conjunct the descendant. Or Neptune. Neptune sextile my personal Aries planets, did feel magical, and I have the trine to Jupiter and the MC. Life used to feel pretty magical to me, at times. IP: Logged |

I have Moon trine Venus. It's not actually a placement I have ever thought about much. How do you think would it manifest in a female? IP: Logged |
