For example my Mom really loves the Libra Life - Shopping, Luxury, nice Clothes, going out to cultural events.......and she is so sad, that my dad hates all of this.
He wants to sit in the house and never go into town, he wants to seclude, and thinks all this spending is just a waste.

So it could be because their Sun Houses are in square Signs?

i dont have many to compare to.. i'm surprised my long time friend was a 8th house sun...

my dad is definitely very cancerian.. 4th house sun.. leo..

i think it all definitely comes into play, if a leo was around a 2nd house or 8th or 11th there would probably be the same tension as the corresponding signs. the houses have the same bodily rulerships, same thing as the signs

I definitely think the luminaries pick up the energy of the house they are in. As an 8th house Pisces sun and moon, I definitely have a Scorpio vibe. My boyfriend's Pisces sun and Aries moon are in his 2nd house, and he has a Taurus vibe, but he's also conersvative with money, which I feel is a Taurus aspect as well.

In synastry it gives a flair to the aspects. But aspects hold more weight in relationships. For instance I had a guy who has a crush on me who's Venus was in my 8th house. Typically that would be really big attraction factor right? But I just wasn't able to reciprocate those feelings back to him.

I've always pondered over this one, especially since it would explain why I feel more watery than the typical air sign. I have Sun in the 4th and Moon in the 8th, and being a Cancer Sun with Scorpio Moon feels like me too.

There have been people who have argued against this and claimed it to be "incorrect" usage of astrology, but I still use it anyway because I can easily see how it plays out.

Scorpio Ascendant
Aquarius Sun in 4th
Gemini Moon in 8th

Yes, this can be true..

Moon in 2nd(much like Taurus)can be hoarders of antiques or emotional spenders because the emotional familiarity (Moon) tends to be connected to the object one wants to possess(2nd)

Moon in 3rd(much like Gemini) tends to "absorb" the stimuli and information around them and process it to make sense of their own experience. They find safety(Moon) in being able to articulate(3rd) their subjective experience

Moon in 6th(much like Virgo) finds it difficult to relax. They worry about getting by and can suffer anxiety issues when it comes to unfamiliar situations as they feel very "unprepared".

When there is no clarity for order or some type of rhyme and reason, these guys can get so stressed that issues(6th) related to the Moon can result i.e stomach ulcers, rapid weight loss, eating disorders etc.

The Moon in 6th is extremely vulnerable and is the type to take work(6th) home(Moon) or think about work(6th) even when at home(Moon).

Moon in 11th is connected to groups and associations or finding their emotional satisfaction from group activities and interaction.

I think of the Moon in 11th as part of a quilting bee,a regular pub drinker,a club goer or event planner. The emotional satisfaction usually comes from bringing people together or being in an atmosphere of many like-minded people.

When someone with a Moon in 6h dates someone with a Moon in 11th,it can feel like their passions are in altogether unrelated directions.

Moon in 6th may be more willing to get involved and help organize the vents that the Moon in 11th is party to- as moon in 6th is quite versatile and likes to help.

Both however will be kept away from each other because of obligations either to work(Moon in 6th) or friends(Moon in 11th)

Over time, Moon in 11th may come to depend on Moon in 6th(as most people do). But it may not be a romantic association

Does a second House Moon make you a bit Taurus?

I think the vibe, yes. I have my sun in 2nd house, I attract mars in Taurus a lot (although my mars in sag). The Taurus moon man once fall for me, but due to his slowness and the passive of venus in cancer, he is too late. Currently I am with venus in taurus late degree or prob lazy fat gemini venus 0'. lol. My bf has high anxiety, he once asked me how could I get calm and chill af everyday. My other friend told me, I talk slooooooww (mercury in 2nd house? My bf even looses his patient waiting for me finishing the line LOL) although I think quick and a thinker (air mercury).

AND: What about conflicting House Positions in relationships?

Hmm, I will check my synastry, never done this before. *still learning*
