What would be the general interpretation of someone who has their IC/MC ruler conjunct and in the 1st?

Mars rules my MC and Venus rules my IC. They're both in Leo and in my 1st house. I was interested in transit Uranus on my MC and that's when I realized that my IC/MC rulers are conjunct.

Venus/Mars conjunct and in Leo.

Venus/Mars conjunct often suggests that the pursuit(Mars) of pleasure(Venus) is very much the focal point in ones life.

Mars flames Venus and so it is likely that the usually passive nature of Venus is given a more competitive "edge" by Mars thereby making Venus a lot more competitive in attaining attention.

You could be someone who wants to "win" in Venus related things i.e beauty contests, "most sexy", "most popular", "most likeable", "most tactful/diplomatic", most talented, most creative, most artistic, most dramatic etc.

Since both planets are in Leo, this emphasizes that these two planets are in integral part of expressing your ego(Leo).

So the Venusian themes are not a superfluous pursuit ,but very much a part of your identity(Leo). You want to stand out in some way that is related to Venus. To "win" in things related to Venus or be well-known.

Now with Venus ruling the Ic and having a connection with Mars(ruler of the Mc),much of your inner and outward life will be bonded.

I often think of this connection as the "keeping up with the Kardashians" aspect: As someone who has this configuration doesn't mind that their private life(Ic) mixed with their public life(Mc).

There is a tendency for the public life to 'spill over' to the private life and vice versa.

Naturally with Mars aspecting the ruler of the Ic(Venus),there is likely to be a very volatile/active home life.

Or it could be that you spend a lot of time in your domestic environment? Perhaps beautifying it in some way?

With Mars on the Mc, it could be that your home is known to be the most beautiful in the neighborhood?

Or it could be that in your family, you are known to be the most concerned with Venusian things i.e beauty, finesse and decor etc.

It could also suggests that your career is centered around home, you sell houses as a career ,you have a home business, you run "party business", event planner or even run a children's daycare(since Leo is also about children)?

Whatever it is, the home life(Ic) is elevated due to its connection with the career(Mc) and it is likely that you do not have a 9-5 occupation as what you do and who you are melts into one.

Where is your 2nd and 6th house? And what planets are there?

when the rulers of the 4th and the 10th are conjunct, the person's parents have been perceived as a united team by them. this can make the person want to always connect his job with his home life. he may have a home-related job.

when they're in the 1st, they must have received lots of attention from parents as a child. so their home/work life is an inseparable part of their character more than any other areas in their life.

the venus/mars conjunction, mostly shows a person who's not afraid to display both their feminine and masculine side, regardless of their gender.

Aries23Degrees,
You are amazing at this.

I can get pretty competitive with my looks. thing is... I've been downplaying it. Must be my sun in 12th? I've been trying to express myself better and have been getting back into Venusian things. I wish I can turn off that side of me at times because it can get pretty expensive lol

My house is pretty nice compared to others, thanks to my mom's taste in luxurious things and my dad's love for landscaping. Ever since I was little, my parents put a big emphasis on looks, mainly my mom though. Sometimes it wasn't in a very nice way but that's a whole different story...

I don't have a home business or anything of that nature. That would be so much fun though! I've always thought of opening my house for less fortunate athletes and taking care of their basic needs while they play sports. I wouldn't mind having that as a job for the rest of my life. I would actually do it for free!

I have a 9-5 job but I really don't like it. My 2nd house is Leo with no planets there and my 6th is Sag with Cap Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus retrograde. I work in a place where I have to look and act professional. Where only stud earrings are allowed but yet I have a lot more piercings that I have to manipulate my hair to hide them. Sometimes my bubbly personality comes out that I tone it down and end up sounding like a robot. I really wish I could express myself in my workplace.

I see my parents as a united team when it comes to putting a nice house together, but they're values are kind of different. My mom loves expensive, luxurious things while my dad is a simple guy.

I didn't see my parents that often when I was a kid, but I received a lot of attention when it came to my looks.

I definitely resonate with not being afraid of displaying both my feminine and masculine side!

I have this, Moon ruling MC, and Saturn ruling IC - conjunct in the 9th House.

I've always thought it accurately represented how close my parents were, to the point that their relationship was the priority in the family. Not that us kids were excluded, but our Mom made all her decisions based upon what would be best for our Dad. It was a great love also.

I've never worked from home, but I have to feel 'at home' where I work. Despite this conjunction being in the 9th House I would hate to have a job where I am forced to be on the road. I do hope to develop my work so that all of the above is incorporated however. (writing books, astrology and tarot readings, photography and singing - all involve working from home and at various locations)
