Very emotional, caring, nurturing, taking responsibility for everything and everyone.
But while she is very emotional and sometimes her emotions colour her judgement, she hates if that is being pointed out, and she doesn`t see herself like that (she thinks she is completely rational, at least sometimes she thinks so).
Independence means a lot to her, though she has never been granted the luxury of personal independence, as she had to care for two families from a young age on, but she definitely does her own thing, when it comes to opinions, which sometimes is not easy for her aquaintances.

Our relationship is VERY close, maybe sometimes too much so.
We have a lot of intellectual discussions, or really exchange of opinions, often being on the same plate, sometimes not.

But also at the same time I´ve often felt "too observed", like being placed under a microscope, and everything that isn`t running smoothly in my life, especially when I am occasionally sad or angry (emotions that were not really accepted; not that she was punishing for them, but just, I remember everytime I was angry or sad, th efirst thing she asked was: "Why are you crying/ having a temper tantrum now? What is the reason?" - I was allowed to those, as long as there was an acceptable reason for them. lol it took me many years to even realized myself that I have a right to feel emotions, even angry, sad ones JUST BECAUSE.)

The thing is she feels guilty when one of her children is experiencing a negative emotion, like she had done something wrong or not cared enough or not being observant enough.

Though sometimes crap just happens, without the parents being guilty of anything.

But I don`t think I will ever be able to really make her believe that.

So in a way, as much as I love my mom and feel really close to her and understand why she is that way and where she`s coming from, sometimes she`s also felt OVERPRESENT in my life.
But that is largely due to her feeling so responsible for everything and being very observant.

Her Sun and Mercury are in Scorpio; Moon, Venus, Mars in Virgo; ASC in Cancer conjunct Uranus.

Of cours ethat means that we are elementally VERY different, as

my Sun, Mercury, Mars, ASC in Sagittarius
Moon in Aquarius
Mars and ASC conjunct Neptune

Your mom is totally a cancer riser you mix it in with the possessiveness and paranoia of Scorpio, over protectiveness of cancer and the anxiety/guilt coming from her Virgo planets and yeah she is a great mom, very conscientious, too conscientious perhaps. Thankfully her AC conjuncts Uranus or she might have suffocated you jk.

It must have been nice to get all that nourishing warm love though coming from her cancer rising and sun in Scorpio and I love moon in Virgo, my dad has that and is great dad. I bet she always had your back but her moon in Virgo is probably why she was like "why are you upset? there has to be reason, lets figure this out..." mercury on her moon and all she must reason this out.
