Do you find that you can obsess over someone when first time meeting them? Do you feel that you can be prone to obsessing over someone every hour of the day just because they are physically and/or emotionally appealing? Do you feel consumed by the constant obsession over this person that is suddenly put up in a "statue of perfection"?------------------

As a Venus in Scorpio, I can relate. But I think the Saturn conjunction keeps things at bay.I can recall someone I first had a crush on and mind you, I think that if I met them again. I would want something to occur between us. I have a long memory. Don't know if that is obsession though. As the Pluto-Mercury conjunction transit is currently teaching me what obsession really is I don't know how you guys with personal planets aspecting Pluto do it. This is waaaay above what the Venus in Scorpio energy in my case is  IP: Logged |

My husband has Mars conjunct Pluto. Basically, he wants me near him all the time. My Plutonian side loves and derives comfort from that, even though the rest of me needs more space and sometimes would rather not listen to complaints about how I am too elusive. Oh yeah, big time lol if I'm particularly interested in a person I'll be completely fixated on them/obsess about them until I figure everything out about them. This can happen with new friends.. Relationships.. Coworkers.. Sometimes I wish I could just not think about certain people because this can go the other way and one small, minor negative interaction.. I'll replay the persons face, what they said and the overall feeling of a conversation or experience over and over sometimes and I just want to forget about it. I read this really awesome interpretation of Mercury Pluto conj, and I felt like it applied well to plutos obsessiveness, that because it mind is so fixated and obsessed that it will find new, hidden meanings or ways of seeing things because of that constant obsession and picking things up others would miss. Kind of off topic but still relevant! Haha My Mars is parallel Pluto by 0'06! So close, and my sun/merc are also all conj/parallel.

Sounds completely like me but in my case it almost has to be Venus square Neptune. I do have Sun/pluto aspect in natal and declination. Pluto in first house. I really don't know if those can also play out this way. IP: Logged |

Do you ever go back to the person you were obsessed with? Lets say you were into a person but after awhile the two of you kind of drifted apart. Or maybe the other person became detached no contact. Would you then want to see or contact the person?IP: Logged |

im a mars pluto opposite person- in addition to sun-pluto opposite and venus-pluto opposite.
YES to all you mentioned in your post, i obsess over things/people and situations( romantic or not), and want to know everything, and why they did what they did and what they thought of me etc..on the other hand, i dont show this.
i obsess and analyse in private, and figure things out on my own..i can even come across uninterested..while in reality i m burning under my skin lol that maybe because my personal planets are all in the 12th house and a bit hidden IP: Logged |

So having Sun/Pluto can also cause this? I think maybe Moon/Pluto might.

There have been a few times when I intensely focused on someone and became hypersensitive to them, but not to the point of obsession. Lots of other things can attract and keep my attention like that. Mars oppose pluto. IP: Logged |

Aries Mars opp Pluto exactThe answer is yes. I don't obsess as much as I did in the past, but I still do. Not just about men of interest, sometimes about artists or ideas. I had a long period when I was obsessed with astrology and learned every technique out there. I used to spend whole nights researching and calculating, without feeling tired. When I find someone attractive I fantasize about them a lot (Mars trine Neptune) and it can get super intense. Reality though might not be always so great haha. I am not clingy though. Maybe because I have too much Sag and some Uranus/Aqua influence, but I don't need to be joined at the hip with the other person. I generally see my boyfriends once or twice per week. I also can get stalkerish sometimes. Nothing dangerous, it's just I want to know everything about my interests and I want to know NOW! I have mellowed a lot in the last period of time.
