I will make as exhaustive a list as I can for planets and asteroids conjunct the NN in upcoming articles.

Other aspects such as squares, trines and sextiles are factors, too, but the conjunction is always the strongest, so we will stick with that here.

The North Node Conjunct:

The Sun—You were made for greatness. You were made to shine. You are a superstar and you must find out in what spheres of life you will shine. The rest of the chart will show this. Your life purpose is to get confidence and really build up your identity and self esteem. You need a strong ego to shine.

Donald Trump is coming to mind. The Donald is confident. He knows who he is. As he says, if a wolf pack goes after him( and they do), he will end up the leader. I admire his self confidence and that is why I used him for an example here.

The Moon–Your purpose is to show the world your heart. Don’t try to hide because you were born to show your emotions to the world and to help others do the same. This placement could be in the chart of a poet or a musician.

Mercury—Your purpose is to show your mind and/or the unique way in which you communicate to the world. I could see placement being in the chart of a writer or actor.

Venus–This native was made to be beautiful. The beauty of Venus includes grace. If you want raw sexuality, grab LIlith. I can see this native being a model, make up artist or clothes designer.

Mars–This placement may not be a good one. I am not sure. Mars is one of those planets which can go either way. This native will be tested on his ambitions, passions and drives. He will, likely, be known for this trait.

Saturn—This native may not have a life of fun. Leave that to the Saggitarius’. This native may be called on to be mature, disciplined and wise. Saturn rewards those who learn these lessons, so if this is your placement, put your nose to the grindstone, eat your peas and make your dad proud.

Jupiter–This native would be the opposite of the Saturn. He was made to have a good time( and make sure you have one, too) This Jupiter, probably, has very good luck. He is at the right place at the right time for the best girl and best job.

Neptune—I have heard that this is not a good position. I have heard that it may cause misfortune. I don’t know because I have only seen it in one chart, so had to tell that person what I am telling you. Please, weigh in, if you have it.

Pluto—Big bad Pluto makes a splash at the North Node, as he does everyplace. This native may be a power keg of a person. I, always, think of Putin when I think of power. “Talk softly and carry a big stick” sums it up for this native.

Uranus –I, always, think of Ali G when I think of Uranus. I love Ali G as much as I love Stephen King and that is A LOT!
Ali G breaks barriers. Aly G is the Lenny Bruce of our time. Lenny was another iconoclast.

I admire a leader. Uranus conjunct the NN was not born to be a sheep. More power to

The issue however is that I anticipate resistance from others and fear being called a "weirdo" or ridiculed by people.

I associate and support people that have really outrageous ideals/ideas and often praise them for it i.e "Look at how progressive so and so's views are, so fascinating!" etc.

By doing this I think that is my way of projecting that rebellion on to others- instead of owning it myself.

But in order for me to be attracted and drawn to the outlandish suggests that there is something within me that is "weird". Even if I don't "own" it. Right?

Let's see--Uranus oppose the NN. First, we would need to look at houses to see SPHERES of life like marriage, education etc etc--in which this opposition would play out.

THEN, we need to understand the opposition is a see-saw, so it is a back and forth.

You may be "out there" and all rebellious and then you may pull back and hide because you feel too exposed.

I was responding to the other thread on NN and my thought was on NN was that I think I still need to grow toward it because I can't seem to associate with the NN at the moment. The fact that it has really no aspects in my natal prolly makes it harder for me too I feel. My NN has no aspects (except Ceres at 3 deg away... would you count this?). SN quintiles Jupiter exactly. My Jupiter though however is sort of important in my chart. It conjuncts my anti-Vx.

My nodal axis falls on 5-11th house: NN in Taurus 5th house, SN in Scorpio 11th house.

Yea, I find when there are no aspects, the person can't seem to find a sense of his purpose BUT you have a Yod, which is an aspect of purpose, so it would mitigate this, YG
