Topic: difference between Martian and Uranian energy?

so just like my gemini vs aquarius post, i find that it's been hard for me to tell the difference, or understand the difference between martian and uranian energy.like if you see it in real life what's the difference? thank you! IP: Logged |

Well...in my mind Martian energy can be better anticipated than Uranian energy. At least with Martian energy there's a way to "prevent" it from exploding per se. With Uranian energy it can be so sudden, and surprising that there's no way to see a pattern. Sometimes. Uranian energy is more stubborn and defiant for better or worse, whereas Martian energy seems more personal.IP: Logged |

Mars is energy, the current of desire and drive which fuels and motivates action on the physical level especially. Uranus is more cerebral, ruling an air sign and not a fire sign. It has to do with the essence of the present moment, living fully such that we have access to divine inspiration which seems to crop up from nowhere but it's just pure genius... Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury, and is pretty different from Mars. When they get together sometimes you get whizz-bangs on the physical level, and sometimes you totally don't. Often the energy which is being activated in the physical realm is actually pretty considered and refined, because Uranus isn't just a hotshot firecracker, it is the essence of that divine spark which elicits needful change which actually brings us more in alignment with that which is, that which we already are. It tunes us in to the collective, to inspiration and insight which can have far reaching effects for the future. Mars is carnal desire, and one element of creative force, life force, as it rules Aries and also Scorpio, you can see the difference between Aries and Aquarius, yes? It is like that. People think Uranus makes for oddballs but really those people are just being true to their nature... a lack of healthy Uranus activation can cause conformity when a dose of different would actually be better for everybody...IP: Logged |

Really? I don't see a similarity at all. Mars is bossy, domineering and territorial. They're rude but not malicious. Uranus is mischievous, likes to *shock* and non-conforming. Uranians get off on people's horrified reactions to their shenanigans. Both hate being told what to do.IP: Logged |

They're both masculine, selfish, individualistic. Mars is combative and will fight to defeat you. Uranus is more rebellious and stubborn, and likely to out think you. Mars IS malicious! He is War (Aries) & Vengeance (Scorpio). In Sun/Mars synastry often Mars loses the honorable fight, then hits below the belt for the win. Mars will give you physical strength & confidence to stand up for yourself and what you believe in. Uranus will grant you insight and a new way of looking at things. Mars is drama and fighting. Uranus is insight and innovation.

I am both. Mars conj ASC sextile Uranus 0.04degrees. Uranus is my overall chart ruler despite having a Virgo (or Leo) ASC. Anyway, I am aggressive, sexual, brutal and a warrior. You can't, and won't, defeat me until you bleed like I do. But it subsides and I will warn you, once, before I am about to blow a fuse. The Uranus in me however, will leave you perplexed. I will take a right turn when you were 100% certain I would go left. I will dress in pink after a complete black-dressed year. I will shave my hair off out of the blue. I will say something radical that won't make sense until 5 years later. I will love you when we went to bed and quite possibly leave you the morning after. Why? Because that's how the flow of things went. I can't stop the urge once it hits me. IP: Logged |

Mars: blood, flesh. Physical/kinetic energy, ambition. Conventional, wants to compete to win.Uranus: electricity, the psychic. Mental/social energy, networking connection. Unconventional, stands out without competing. ------------------

How accurate! I have Mars In The 1st House, and my Leo Sun forms an opposition to Uranus by 1 degree. Preach girl, preach. ------------------

Great input Charlie 👍By transit I have seen Mars manifest more as an internal thing. An irritation over something. But i have experienced Uranus as external- an event that is inconveniencing but cannot be avoided(Uranus). It may result in irritation(Mars). So for example, the feeling that you get when your friend stands you up in the rain. That's Mars irritation. But the reason that they stood u up i.e buildup of traffic on the way there, a detour perhaps or car troubles etc. That's Uranus. Saturn/Uranus both rule delays & interruptions. But with Uranus they are often more inconveniencing & unavoidable. IP: Logged |

Mars isn’t always explosive, or even irritated. Uranus can also be putting a different twist on something. I’m on my phone right now, but I clicked, because I’m an Aries with Scorpio ascendant conjunct Uranus (trine mars on Pisces). IP: Logged |
