I'm adding different love asteroids to my chart. And I notice a lot of them are in my 8th house. So far I've checked and I have Cupido and Valentine in my 8th house as well. Along with Venus, Mercury and Jupiter. But does having asteroids in the houses also count as having a stellium?IP: Logged |

I wouldn't think so. Consider, there are thousands of asteroids around (doesn't matter what their names are or what they stand for). If you theoretically entered them all into your chart, chances are you'll have 100s in each house, so should you say you have stelliums in all houses? Maybe someone else can weigh in and dispute that. I'm just looking at it from a quantitative perspective.IP: Logged |

To settle this issue,I turn to the whole sign system. You have Mercury,Jupiter and True Node conjunct in Aries in the 9th. Now conventionally, the Nodal axis is not seen as a "planet". So it would not be a "stellium" per se.. But a stellium by definition is "emphasis" on a certain sign and naturally then, its corresponding house placement within the chart. So now the question is asked back to you; Are you the type who is continually learning, expanding and very much interested in 9th house affairs? If the answer is "yes",then you don't need the strict definition of a "stellium" to define for you what already occupies your mind most of the time. IP: Logged |

I have Venus, Mercury and Jupiter in the 8th house. I think the picture of the chart is too small. I only have my Sun in the 9th house. quote: Originally posted by Aries23Degrees: To settle this issue,I turn to the whole sign system. You have Mercury,Jupiter and True Node conjunct in Aries in the 9th. In placidus, you have Venus,Jupiter,North Node and Mercury in 8th- traditionally considered a stellium(Venus, Jupiter and Mercury are in the same house) I use the whole sign system when it comes to this. So do a comparison between meaning of planets in 8th vs. those in 9th. IP: Logged |
